The new owners, Tony and Matt are really dedicated to making The Landing a great place to enjoy on Lake Vermilion. Yes, the food can be a bit slow coming out at busy times but Tony informed me that this spring, they will be going out 30 feet to enlarge the kitchen which should help to rectify the situation. They also... We went to the landing took forever to get our food over an hour they weren't that busy and on a Monday really. Our server was good and apologized Manager was not very friendly and no help. People that ordered after us were done eating before we got our food. I am very disappointed and spent a lot of money... More

Beautiful setting! So exciting for two families from Colorado to take our boat right up to the dock and eat! That is where the fun ends! Two hours, no patrons, three servers and no service!! Not even six lemonades for the kids. So Sad!! Could be so successful! Locals approached us and apologized!

We visited the landing on Sunday evening after July 4 weekend. It was not busy, but had a steady flow of customers. I ordered pasta with spicy sausage and peppers. It seemed fresh, was quite spicy, and was more than enough (I ate about half). My husband had a club sandwich. It had American cheese. It was really hard to... More

Make sure you don't order the $12 bloody mary on accident. Liked previous owners way better. Very rude bartender

My family and I have a hunting shack 8 miles north of the Landing. We live all over the state and come up multiple times thru out the year for fishing and hunting trips. Not one trip goes by that we don't have at least one meal at the Landing. It's tradition now. We love the Sunday brunch on our... More

Was excited to try The Landing which was all a buzz because it is now under new management. To my dismay. It all started out with being seated at a "sticky" table that we asked to have re-wiped. Our server rolled her eyes and proceeded to wipe down our table with a stinky, sour smelling wet kitchen cloth. Reluctantly, we... More

The Landing was okay. We stopped by on one of our hunting trips on an early Friday evening. The burger was large and good, a little greasy. The fish fry was not as good as other local restaurants. However, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was very warm and entertaining. We left our credit card there by accident. The... More
