I'd been wanting to visit this place for a while now after having seen all the great reviews of this place and the photos to boot. So we went tonight. Apparently we went to the wrong location. The reviews are all for the Columbia Heights location and I'd suggest that you stick to it if that's where you go, don't... More

I used to go to this place about once a month. Everybody loved it! However, the service has gotten really bad. When you ask 2 different people a question, they will give you a different answer. Also, they have no problem making up an answer. If you have a buffet, then you should really know something about the food on... More

This restaurant, started by a hotel chef who came to Minnesota from Egypt, has consistently great food. The offerings are varied - from lamb and other Mid-Eastern staples to American comfort foods like mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. Drinks are free- don't miss the tea with mint leaves. The place is clean and staff are continually in the dining... More

We tried the Mpls one a few weeks back, at about 1:00. Food was not as fresh, hot or plentiful as Co. Heights, nor did they have the hot beverages & fresh mint leaves avail that I love at the original one. Hummus & baba had to be skimmed fr under the top congealing layer...

Incredible options, clearly made with care. Great for the whole family- everything from authentic greek, to mac & cheese. Comes with drinks and dessert!

Huge selection; don't miss the samosa's, hummus, baba, & good variety of salads. Also the Lamb & kofte is a highlight. Good for families, 'cuz kids have plenty of options; pastas, mac n' cheese sometimes. Desert cooler is huge. Love the fresh mint leaves for the tea.

The lentil soup is my favorite. The food is a bit above average but as far as I know the falafel is frozen and the gyro meats are the frozen loaves from Chicago. Overall though I like and have been to both locations many times.

Stopped here with my little man during the early evening. It's a buffet, but a very good buffet. There is a variety of food - both American and Mediterranean. The staff was great and they kept my little guy amused while I went thru the buffet and returned to the table with our dinner. The manager only charged me for... More

Nice family establishment, great food. My boyfriend and I sampled a little of almost everything and loved all of it. My favorites were the lamb and baklava. I wish there were more labels of the dishes they had on display. Clean and comfortable.

Buffet style eating always caters to the lowest common denominator in customers. This leaves the food generally bland, lifeless, poorly seasoned, etc. Here its as if every tray is filled with an individual entree. Crisply seasoned, not overcooked. This place is a wonder. Not only are the items in the buffet changed with great frequency.. So as to keep the... More
