Love it or hate it

You either love their pizza or hate it, I happen to love it. Their fake Mexican isn't bad, haven't had much else. Good prices, less than stellar service.

I felt like this place could provide semi-decent food at a cheap price if you knew the wait staff well enough to get an honest assessment of what was freshly cooked that day. Otherwise, plan on microwave leftovers. For example- a hot turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes- great if they had roasted turkeys recently, if not- turkey lunch meat nuked... More

I have been to Family Tradition many times and have always had good food. The Big John omelet is big enough for two to share...the turkey dinner on Sundays is wonderful, and I also love the chicken salad with a bran muffin for lunch. The chicken fried steak is enormous and wonderful at any time of the day. Everything is... More

Turkey dinner with all the trimmings! DELICIOUS! They give you such huge servings that we always bring enough Turkey home for a sandwich. Service is super great also.

If you need breakfast -- you're safe. Nobody can screw up eggs, toast and hasbrowns -- but you are advised to steer clear of thei beef tips on noodles -- which is as unappealing in taste as it looks and is the cost of a nice juicy steak you could get down at Trapper Pete's in Esko. Truth be told,... More

Two of us came here for lunch on July 4 weekend, based on Trip Advisor recommendations. There are several highly rated TA restaurants within a fe blocks on highway 33, north of the main business district. I had a hot turkey sandwich which I'd describe as mediocre. There were a few narrowly sliced pieces of turkey on brea, with lots... More

Decided to try Family Tradition after hearing numerous good reports from others. The kids pancakes were excellent. My wife's blueberry French Toast was great. I had the "John's omelette" a 5 egger, stuffed with hash browns, sausage, ham, cheddar, and green pepper. It was great, and perfectly cooked. We will be back. Very reasonable prices

We just finished the best breakfast of our trip! I highly recommend the breakfast special. The pancakes are really good but the bran muffin is the best!
