Good Meat Mediocre Sides

The lunch special on Tue is 3 bones and two sides and a soda for $10. The ribs were fall of the bone tender and just the right amount of sauce. The green beans were so soggy. They were almost the consistency of baby food. The baked potato casserole was mashed potatoes with a few cheese shreds on... read more

I know a lot of people like Dickey's Barbecue. I have had some pretty dang good BBQ there, but the last few times I visited, it was only so-so. The brisket was dried out (unpardonable sin at a BBQ joint) and the 'sides' were over cooked and mushy. It's a bit spendy also. I will certainly try it again, but... More

I love bbq and used to live in tx, so i do know what it should taste like. Dickeys in general has decent bbq and good brisket. I've eaten at other locations and did like it. This location howerver is very poortly run and the food and service are not up to snuff. For example, got a baked potato one... More

After eating barbecue pork ribs yesterday at a different Burnsville restaurant, I was especially positively impressed with Dickey's food flavor, value, and upbeat overall feeling! While Dickey's is a chain, the Burnsville Dickey's is individually owned and offers special upgrades. I had a big portion of DELICIOUS barbecue ribs, homemade Brunswick stew, coleslaw, soft serve ice cream, and pickles, all... More

saw an employee while their nose and not wash their hands. We threw the food away and left. Prior to that happening we found the food to be a little bit over prices for the quality of the food. quality was probably to to employees to busy picking their noses.. Nasty NAsty NASTY place.

Ordered a 2 meat plate: The ribs were very good (tender & tasty) and the brisket was a little dry but had nice bark. It was a shame that they shred the brisket instead of slicing it, the way it should be done! The coleslaw & waffle fries were fine, the baked potato casserole (mashed potatoes w/ cheese & green... We were looking for something different than the chains we have in our area and based on reviews decided to check it out. They don't have a huge menu but enough to satisfy different tastes. The food is prepared "Subway" style in front of you and the restaurant atmosphere is also more "fast food" oriented. The price was very reasonable.... More

Our first time in any Dickey's and we came upon the store in Burnsville, Minnesota. I gave it one star because the aroma was captivating. That was the only good thing I have to say about Dickey's. I ordered the 2-meat platter with pulled pork and beef brisket with sides of coleslaw and beans. My wife ordered the pulled pork,... More

We had never been to Dickey's before so we thought we would try it since the restaurant was crowded. I ordered the small pulled pork sandwich with baked potato casserole and cole slaw for $7. It was quite a bit of food and very delicious! The staff was very friendly and fun. There are many different sides to choose from.... More
