Corey was the best server! She wisely guided me on wine choices (two nights!) and menu selections. The oysters were outstanding. Soft shell crabs were terrific. The breadth of the menu and the quality of the food and service were fantastic. I only tried the seafood orders. Seriously two great evenings in one week.

My partner and I picked up her brother at the airport, and after baggage, rental car and the rest of the details were settled we took him to Blue Point. It was a bit of a risk because none of us had ever eaten there, but I had read reviews from tripadvisor and decided to give it a shot. Am... More

My friend was in the mood for seafood and Blue Point was the answer. The elegant decor, quiet and peaceful ambience was exactly what we wanted after a long drive from Des Moines. I wanted a lite meal so I ordered the cheese plate and spring salad and my friend had the duck and scallop dinner. Everything came out beautifully... More

Clamp chowder was lacking in class, though very tasty. Salmon just seemed ordinary and not what it was trumped up to be. Disappointing mostly because an expensive meal should reach higher standards. Oh well!

We came on a Monday evening with a group of 5, expecting fresh seafood, prepared professionally. We have been here before with pretty good results. We started with the calamari appetizer and a shrimp cocktail. The calamari was absolutely excellent, and the shrimp was a bit below expectations, a bit soft and not so flavorful. This was how the whole... More

In early April I hosted a group of over 60 people at Blue Point-- a number of people from out of town for a heavy appetizer cocktail party. The food was special, and the servers extremely friendly and professional. The ambiance of the restaurant just added to the overall get together. I have received over two dozen emails from participants... More

Nice selection of small plates. The mussels were terrific and all beverages are doubled. Returned for dinner. Skip pan-fried oysters...way too small and all breading. Gumbo great.

Went with large work group based on trip advisor reviews. Wasn't disappointed! Great service, very flexible with reservation, seating, etc. everyone loved their dinners....hottest items were the oysters Rockefeller, the steamed clams and mussels...both very large serving for an appetizer....and for dinner the bacon wrapped cod and swordfish.....well worth the visit and did not break the bank. No one had... More

Great lunch menu. The clam chowder is outstanding. I had the Bluepoint chop salad. Perfect size salad with the right amount dressing. The waiter was well-trained in the menu and provided great service.
