Brigid's Cross is located in downtown Bemidji, just across the street from a wonderful book store and the Paul Bunyan Playhouse. It serves good Irish fare as well as good Irish beer! The service is sometimes a little slow but the wait is usually worth it. Prices are good and the atmosphere is almost like Irish!!!

This restaurant's menu isn't going to win points with "foodie" types, but it is good. We stopped in after deciding the wait at another restaurant was too long, and were satisfied with our choice. The "beaver dropping" appetizer (cream cheese and jalapeno peppers in deep fried in wonton wrappers) was good, and so was the fish and chips. Our waitress... More

Food is good. I had wild rice cakes and they were very good. But the service... or should I say "what service?" After we were seated, the bartender came over to the table to take drink orders. . He was very abrupt and grumpy. Acted like he was doing us a favor to talk to us. . Awhile later, a... More

My whole family enjoyed this place for our first dinner in Minnesota. We only had the fish and chips and the Walleye fish sandwich but I can say that both were excellent as was the beer (including several local/regional ones).

Stopped for lunch. The staff was very helpful with a very high local and area craft beer IQ. Food was very good with no problems making adjustments to menu items. Will go back again.

We went here for lunch and we're just sorry we had to leave town so we couldn't come back for dinner! Fresh, local ingredients, all scratch made. Our kind server turned us onto the colcannon cakes with smoked salmon appetizer...wow! They were delicious. For entrees we had the lamb dip sandwich and the walleye sandwich, both amazing. The lamb was... More

Love the atmosphere, food and live music. We enjoy sitting outside on the patio. Brigids often has live music - either bands or open mic. They also have live Trivia which makes for a fun evening.

We were visiting and "stumbled" across this restaurant. We were able to sit outdoors and had a very enjoyable meal. They were extremely busy, but service was prompt and attentive. There were four of us and all able to find something different to eat, including vegetarian. The food was good, and reasonably priced. Worth stoppingy.

We enjoyed the Shepard's pie and Lamb sandwich. You can sit outside and people watch or sit inside with nice little corners for any size group. Food reasonable in price with full and half sizes available. Loved the pub atmosphere here. Service was friendly and very attentive.
