We enjoyed this place, we found a place in the bar and soon thereafter the owner came to our table to tell us about the food. We ordered some local beers and some steaks. The rub on the steak was great. Not typical, it was just very good. The portions were fair. We had the pie for dessert with was... More

We had a large lunch at Lemon Wolf Cafe down the street and stopped in for a light supper around 7. We were told they were known for their BBQ so we ordered a pulled pork sandwich to spit. The waitress was super nice and very good. BUT we ordered the coleslaw on the side (why put cold slaw on... More

This was a great stop on our motorcycle trip. The service was very good, the prices were good and the food was excellent. My wife had the black bean burger and loved it. Next time we are visiting the North Shore we may also stay at the hotel here.

After years of visiting the North Shore we finally stopped at this restaurant - based on recommendations of others and trip advisor. We were not disappointed. First time was about 4pm. Not busy as it was neither lunch nor dinner time. Service was fast and friendly. My husband and I each had different pulled pork sandwiches since that is what... More

We just had a snack of deep fried fish, but it was good along w/ a cold beer! We wanted the herring but they were out as fishing is running behind schedule. That was according to everyone we talked too along the lake. The service was good. The staff was friendly.

We stopped while snowmobiling to get some lunch and a few beers, they have very good food and their beer menu is very diverse. The staff is very helpful and the bar/restaurant decor is very nice...kinda reminds you of an old cabin.

Just stopped in for a quick lunch and had the pulled pork sandwich and homemade potato salad. The pork is dry seasoned but moist, tender, and extremely flavorful. Added a small touch of BBQ sauce, served on the side, over the tablespoon of fresh made slaw and this turned out to be the best tasting pulled pork sandwich I have... More

We read the Trip Advisor reviews and decided we would give Camp 61 a try and we were NOT disappointed. My husband had a Philly Cheesesteak which was hot and delicious, I had the mouth-wateringly good pulled pork with kettle chips. Everything was delightful. The waitress was lovely and just friendly enough without seeming phoney. Nice decor, interesting items for... More

My wife and I stopped at Camp 61 over Easter weekend for our second experience. We avoid chain restaurants as much as possible. She had the fish tacos, which were delicious! I had the carnitas tacos, which were superb! Their pulled pork is very tender and melts in your mouth. Camp 61 is now a "must-stop" for us when heading... More

This is a really nice place for diner or lunch. the food was homemade and the pulled pork was really good. They also offered us heart shaped cookies for valentines day and they were homemade as well.
