If you don't know where Prairie Bay is, you'll likely drive right by. But it's worth finding- the food is great! Happy hours specials are very well priced. We usually sit in the bar where its more casual, but full menu available. The menu offers the usuals but with a twist. Love the "make your own bruschetta"- fresh bread/crostini with... More

Visited here based on favorable TripAdvisor reviews. We were seated promptly and server Brianna appeared almost immediately after to greet us and see if we knew what we wanted to drink or wether we needed a few minutes to review the wine list. After a few minutes she came back to take drink orders and advise us of the daily... More

Friendly greeting at door. Prompt seating (With reservation) Diverse menu. Excellent service. Fantastic flavorful food. Fun desserts. Great prices. I had cherry-wood smoked pork over risotto. Wife had ahi-tuna sandwich. Son had kid's spaghetti. Parents shared a strawberry salad and braised beef. Everyone was happy. We will be back!

At the recommendation of the Brainerd Co-op, we tracked down Prairie Bay (a bit hard to find; just off 371 - look for the Arby's sign) for a late lunch. Nice character and decor, friendly staff, and really interesting dishes. My wife and I had the "Build Your Own Bruschetta" ($13). It comes on a big, long plate -- plenty... More

We have been coming to the Brainerd Lakes Area for over 30 years. We discovered Prairie Bay last year. Its kind of hidden from view from 371. Their menu is very unique. Ingredients you won't see at other locations. We've dined there 3 times and it has been excellent.

My husband and I were looking for something a bit out of the ordinary for our dinner in a town we hadn't visited before. I checked the online restaurant reviews and we tried the Prairie Bay restaurant. We had never seen such a creative list of pizzas, so we ordered the chorizo-mango-cilantro with added garlic shrimp. It was truly one... More

We arrived for a very late lunch, recommended by a local. Interesting building, with some "woodsy" architectural details that caught our attention. I ordered the chicken salad, which I was a bit surprised was shredded chicken atop a large mound of chopped lettuce with a walnut something dressing. Actually, it was quite good. My coworker ordered a ham and cheese... More

I had high expectations for this restaurant as I had never been there before, and heard good things! The food prices for the lunch menu were reasonable. The atmosphere was okay. Our server, wasn't great... never checked back to see how our food was, and rushed us with the entrees. If it wasn't for this I think the overall experience... More

We had the Greek pizza and wine. Both were excellent. The place was packed but we got in almost right away. Friendly staff and good food.
