Stil the best after all these years

Fiesta Mexicana still has the best Mexican food in the Ann Arbor/ Ypsilanti Area, and possibly in all SE Michigan. If you like chile rellenos, the meat version of this dish is NOT to be missed.

My husband loves Mexican food so he's not hard to please if it's Mexican fare. I however, am a harder customer if it's Mexican. I think their food is overpriced and not as fresh as I want it to be and is served with so much cheese that the taste of the food is overwhelmed. They have really good salsa... More

Enchilladas anyway to like them, guacamole and pork in green sauce are my favorites. Friendly atmosphere, quaint decor, good food.

I lived around the corner from this place in collage. It was a burger joint where you could get 25 cent sliders. Then one day it changed to Mexican. Back then I loved the food but I thought it was a bit pricy for my college wallet. When I learned you could BYOB (beer, wine, Rita's) I used some of... More

my wife and I went here for dinner recently, for the first time in over 10 years. The same owner, the same decor, the same vibe, and the same tasty authentic Mexican food cooked lovingly by michelle, the owner. We asked her how long she's been in business. "25 years"--exactly what I thought because I think one of our first... More

This is one of the few excellent and authentic Mexican restaurants in our area. I have never had a bad meal here and I have eaten here many times over the years. The space is intimate and has the atmosphere of a small family restaurant. The home made tamales, guacamole, and chicken in mole are wonderful. The menu does a... More

My wife and I stopped in because we were on a college orientation visit. The food was awesome, the atmosphere was pleasant and the ladies that took care of us were very friendly. My wife and I eat out frequently and we love finding small places like this. Since our daughter will be going to EMU for the next 4... More

Gudalajara is beautifully represented by this well-respected Mexican restaurant. Everything is made from scratch and with great care with the freshest of ingredients. You will not find tamales this good anywhere else in the area. The masa is light and practically melts in your mouth. The fillings are generous and tasty. Their jamaica is made with Mexican hibiscus, not Chinese... More

This is an unpretentious place with an extensive menu. Good service and beer selection. The food is excellent. I particularly like the Mushroom Quasedillas. Reasonably priced.

Trip Advisor brought us here. We had a large group. Not much curb appeal, but don't let that stop you. It's homey inside. But beware: they only allow split checks to be paid in cash. Also, no liquor license, so you can't have a margarita or beer with your meal. That said, this is true Mexican cuisine. No hard shell... More
