Great Bar Food

If you are looking for some good beer and tasty bar snacks, this is the place to be! The wursts are amazing and they have a some for meat-eaters and vegetarians alike, and both are quite good! Had wanted to stop for quite awhile. Let's begin with the good stuff: The ambiance! It's a really cool bar right near campus, but it doesn't feel like a regular "campus" (AKA dive) bar. It's nicer than that, but not too nice you can't enjoy the $2 (or however much they are) PBR. The staff! I ended up sitting at... More

Good beer selection and the food is always hot and tasty. As the name of the place indicates, the menu leans heavily toward German styled wurst sausages and brats. Generally a nice place to hang out with friends.

If you're not a huge fan of sausage like me, this bar does not have a lot to offer on their menu. The sweet potato fries with marshmallow dip are great, but don't make a meal. The atmosphere is fun and their selection of beers and drinks is great. If you're going for the bar, I highly recommend it but... More

Sadly I discovered this restaurant after my move half way across the country. Their food is amazing! their burgers are amazing and they even has something for my five year old to enjoy [so that i could eat my own food] this place is great and the atmosphere and inside is just as good!

I don't drink alcohol often, so a bar has to have something special to keep my business. Wurst Bar is the best! I'm a fan of puns so that got me in the door (along with a friend's recommendation), but they really delivered on that implied promise - of amazing sausages (hence "wurst" for those unfamiliar with the German origins... Went solo. Sat at the bar. The lady bartender was very friendly and helpful in choosing beer (over 100 choices) and food. I had the Italian Sausage on a pretzel bun with sweet potato tots on the side. The sausage was good, the tots were outstanding. I will be back next time I am in town.

I've been to this establishment on several occasions. I'm not usually a repeat-offender, but this place is awesome. Well worth the drive from Ann Arbor if that is what's been holding you back. It's a good first or repeat date place (not romatic, but certainly no dive either) There are delicious vegetarian options (several, and quite filling) and the beer... More

When my daughter and I headed here, I was thinking 'grungy neighborhood bar with some tubby old guys at the bar". Not! I don't mean to say it looks grungy from the outside, it just gives an 'old school' vibe when you're driving by. Inside its a really fun atmosphere, unlike the "atmospheric trendy" bar/restaurants I've seen lately. This ambience... More
