Went solo. Sat at the bar. The lady bartender was very friendly and helpful in choosing beer (over 100 choices) and food. I had the Italian Sausage on a pretzel bun with sweet potato tots on the side. The sausage was good, the tots were outstanding. I will be back next time I am in town.

I've been to this establishment on several occasions. I'm not usually a repeat-offender, but this place is awesome. Well worth the drive from Ann Arbor if that is what's been holding you back. It's a good first or repeat date place (not romatic, but certainly no dive either) There are delicious vegetarian options (several, and quite filling) and the beer... More

When my daughter and I headed here, I was thinking 'grungy neighborhood bar with some tubby old guys at the bar". Not! I don't mean to say it looks grungy from the outside, it just gives an 'old school' vibe when you're driving by. Inside its a really fun atmosphere, unlike the "atmospheric trendy" bar/restaurants I've seen lately. This ambience... More

This is my 2nd review for this place, as you can tell I'm a fan and go here whenever I'm in the area. 2nd review is just to mention they did a very major upgrade to the interior and bathrooms, likely spent $15000-25000 in upgrades in the fall/winter of 2014(?) The bar section is no longer just one single section... More

Visited the very popular Wurst bar which had a huge crowd for a Wednesday night. I had the fiery rattlesnake brat which lived up to its name with heat but also had great flavor. Overall a nice bar with great food.

Menu is decently varied to suit most; drink list is also lengthy, with many local choices. First time visiting and would love to come back. Seating choices range from large-group tables to bar seats, with plenty of couples tables between. Prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity is just right. Lives up to its "bar" branding, so if you're... More

I can't say enough about this great place. As a vegetarian, I was super impressed with the selection of vegetarian options. And not just a veggie pita that everyone does. We were waited on at the bar by what we later found out was the owner. What a passionate and friendly guy. He had us trying new things and it... More

I just love this restaurant with its handcrafted hamburgers, unusual side items, and a wide selection of specialty sausages. If you like food, you will find yourself visiting The Wurst Bar to taste what they are up to. The service was really helpful and friendly. I can see how it could get loud due to the open floor plan but... More

We stopped by Wurst Bar for an early dinner date on a Friday night. Our server was very knowledgeable and was extremely helpful and made some great suggestions. The Peanut Burger was delicious, the cheese spread was very good with the warm pretzel bits, the Tater Tots were wonderful - the sauce was excellent. Rattlesnake brat was very good. All... More

This is not a family-friendly restaurant! This is really a loud college bar that also has food. We made the mistake of going there on a Friday evening and the noise inside was so painfully loud we walked out. It turns out they had half-price beer, so naturally the noise level increases when people are drinking. We went the next... More
