Visited the very popular Wurst bar which had a huge crowd for a Wednesday night. I had the fiery rattlesnake brat which lived up to its name with heat but also had great flavor. Overall a nice bar with great food.

Menu is decently varied to suit most; drink list is also lengthy, with many local choices. First time visiting and would love to come back. Seating choices range from large-group tables to bar seats, with plenty of couples tables between. Prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity is just right. Lives up to its "bar" branding, so if you're... More

I can't say enough about this great place. As a vegetarian, I was super impressed with the selection of vegetarian options. And not just a veggie pita that everyone does. We were waited on at the bar by what we later found out was the owner. What a passionate and friendly guy. He had us trying new things and it... More

I just love this restaurant with its handcrafted hamburgers, unusual side items, and a wide selection of specialty sausages. If you like food, you will find yourself visiting The Wurst Bar to taste what they are up to. The service was really helpful and friendly. I can see how it could get loud due to the open floor plan but... More

We stopped by Wurst Bar for an early dinner date on a Friday night. Our server was very knowledgeable and was extremely helpful and made some great suggestions. The Peanut Burger was delicious, the cheese spread was very good with the warm pretzel bits, the Tater Tots were wonderful - the sauce was excellent. Rattlesnake brat was very good. All... More

This is not a family-friendly restaurant! This is really a loud college bar that also has food. We made the mistake of going there on a Friday evening and the noise inside was so painfully loud we walked out. It turns out they had half-price beer, so naturally the noise level increases when people are drinking. We went the next... More

This is the place for you if you like poor atmosphere, dirty conditions, bathrooms that are embarrassing with their graffiti, and want an overpriced but excellent wurst. The music is cranked up overwhelmingly despite the acoustics that do not allow bar patrons to hear one another. The big draw on Saturday night is the $2 beers and it's SRO. The... More

Visited with my work mates for lunch. Andouille was ok on a pretzel bun but that was the highlight. Kimchi nothing to brag about and out of 5 people I was the only one who liked their sandwich. The place had an unpleasant odor when you walked in with a dark and dreary atmosphere. Not what I was expecting and... More

I've eaten here 3 times so far. It's a bar--no windows, big TV's, old booths (nice circular ones), extensive mostly local small brew beer list, including hard ciders. The Brats are great, good variety--I've had the andouille, italian, and bison, all cooked perfectly and a good price. My vegetarian friends give the vegetarian hot dogs a thumbs up, and the... More

Funky bar almost on Eastern Michigan University's campus. Long list of gourmet wursts/brats/dogs whatever you want to call them. Had garlic wurst with kim chi relish, but the kim chi was nothing special. No kick at all. The wurst was very good. Beer selection, especially with local beers, was outstanding. Service very attentive and good at explaining the beer selection.
