Old town Ypsi along the Amtrak rail and across from the last Hudson dealership/museum. Slow paced, great selection of craft beer, imported beer and domestic and wine(not a fan). Clever names for their meals. Early 1900's interior and large bar plus 4 different areas for outside dining. We were there during the final game of the World Cup (snore) but... More

I liked the menu, it was very creative and the food was great. I would go here again and again. It was kind of fun to see the train go by.

Been here twice. --The atmosphere is great inside and outside. Old signs and decorations.-- The first time we had a great waiter and great food. Second time - not very happy with staff and food was good. Must be a hit and miss staff. I love the way the brews are. Local and cold. Recommend to try a Cherry Mead... More

This is a very upbeat bar and resturant. The food and service was very good and the atmosphere was very nice. Many historic photos of the area and antique decorations. The outdoor eating area was very nice. The Pot Roast dinner was very good. Wish I lived closer.

The three of us had a very nice evening meal. The restaurant is by the Amtrak tracks which adds to the atmosphere when the train goes by at a fairly high rate of speed. You can eat inside or inside. We ate outside. I enjoyed a Michigan Cherry salad with salmon on top. The salad was very good and the... More

thisthis restaurant is a local institution. Although it's wildly popular, it's also incredibly loud and chaotic. I refuse to go to the Sidetrack except in the summer when we can eat outside. That's the only way I can bypass the chaos of the inside. The food is excellent but the service is slow, slow, slow. Servers are unapologetic about this.... More

Off the beaten path if you are visiting the Ann Arbor area but well worth the trip if you are looking for a great burger! Nice selection of tap beers. Located in an old tavern with outside seating available right on the train tracks...Sidetracks ;) If you are a fried pickles fan, make sure to order.

I've been to Sidetrack before and had no issues. However on this particular visit, the food was so good, the patio was perfect, but the service was not good. We had to ask for basic things or grab them from another table, ketchup, salt, napkins, etc. However, the worst part was the service to those at the table behind us.... More

We recently hosted a party at Sidetrack/Frenchies, expecting up to 100 guests. Our initial contact with the co-owner was 3 months prior to the event. The week of the party I gave them my best-estimate at 80 expected to attend, which they thought best to bump to 85. Our actual turned out to be 76. Over the phone numerous times... More

The food was good but nothing outstanding. I can get a good burger in several places. Service was poor. If I came back in town, I might try this place again.
