Too bad this place closed, had the best meat sauce I've ever had. Great Italian experience and beautiful inside. Went for dinner tonight and seen the new owners sign with the Mandelagos name (or something like that). The food was good, no fault there but not as good as Michelangelos. They also opened the blinds and turned up the lights... More

The Wyandotte Patch has reported on 8/2/13: Closed Michelangelo's Italian Bistro in Wyandotte It was a great place. Sorry that they closed. Good ownership, just lack of support from the area.

I had just been released from the hospital. So my BFF takes us to MIB and the staff was wonderful. The manager came over the table to ask if we were ok and to know if we needed anything. The waitress was wonderful!!!!. I was only having dessert and I ordered the cannoli. She promptly cam back to let me... More

We nearly had the restaurant to ourselves at 8: 15 on a Tuesday night when the staff put tables together to accommodate our group of about 12. Warm bread with herbed olive oil was served. Everyone enjoyed their meals which range from an excellent veal marsala to salmon; prices were from high teens to high twenties but the food was... More

My husband and I love this place! We've been eating here since it has opened, and every experience has been good. The owner/chef, Mike, along with wife, Robin, are very personable and professional. The bread is delicious, and every meal we have had was wonderful, with generous portions. The decor is beautiful, and I highly recommend this place to anyone... More

I took my family to this resturant and it felt like a Bistro in Italy. The food was terrific, reasonbly priced and fast service. The owner was the chef and he came out to all of the tables asking how everything was....not common now a days. Also, the Maitre D' Joe was phenomenal and made us feel right at home.... More

Went on Fathers Day, around 7PM. Waited five minutes before some one came up, it was not busy. Had a coupon with no exceptions, but would accept it due to "holiday". There were no signs posting this. Here comes the server, slow and lazy. Slid on food on the table and walk away, never ask about how was the food... More

My friend and I went her tonight for dinner and really enjoyed it. Nice atmosphere and good service although we got there right when it opened, so we were the only table at first. Rolls with dipping oil came first and we both had the caesar salad which was great. Entrees come with choice of pasta, sauteed spinach with garlic... More

I have such mixed feelings about Michelangelo. I guess I'll start with ambiance and service: The atmosphere was nice, a homey sophisticated kind of feel. We were sat in the side room (birthday party of 8), which also had 3-4 other tables seated. It was a little too dark in the side room, and pretty cold, despite the fireplace. Nothing... More

The restaurant is beautiful. It is a great date spot. The service is very good. The food was wonderful (try the seafood pasta!) and the portions very generous.
