Particularly noteworthy was the homemade pumpkin seed pesto served alongside the garlic, bread and boursin cheese. Red Cedar received a lot of bad new during their change over and even for a while after. Lately they are back doing a great job. Some of the wait staff could polish up a bit more. Look at people when you walk by or are in the area. Love that we can hear each other. The other Williamston places... More

We had a team dinner at "Red Cedar Grille" and the place was a pleasant surprise as we drove from Lansing MI. We ordered many different varieties of appetizers and entrees and all I heard around the table was "WOW" this “IS” good. The selection of artisan/microbrewery beers was just enough where-in you have enough variety that you are not... More

I really like the atmosphere at the Red Cedar Grill. However, their entrees can be pretty pricey. There never is really anything that just jumps out at me that sounds good. We have never had a bad experience here, but the menu is just middle of the road with nothing to spectacular.

Often ate here on a weekly basis. Unfortunately, it's the same old, same old week after week. We'd love to have a place we can pop into whenever I don't feel like cooking but unfortunately this isn't it. Some variation on the menu, keeping in mind not everyone likes to eat large meals, would be nice. Change up your salads... More

Visited with my family this past Sunday for brunch. The service was friendly and adequate but not especially attentive. We waited almost an hour for our food to arrive after ordering. My dish was lukewarm, my wife's dish was burned, and the other two dishes were just ok. None of us really enjoyed our food that much for one reason... More

This restaurant did brunch years ago, and then did not. It is back now with a whole new menu and obviously a new chef! The word hasn't gotten out yet about their brunch yet and as such we were the only ones in the restaurant for a while and we were there at noon. Brunch is from 10-2pm, so maybe... More

Great location in charming downtown Williamston where you can walk to the quaint shops. Service was excellent and the food very good. Nice atmosphere with happy hour specials from 5-7 pm.

We went for the first time a couple of Saturday's ago. Upon entering I thought we were going to have to wait but did not. We were slightly confused by the direction of the menu so we asked our waitress for advice. We ended up really enjoying what we had but they were probably one of the simpler items on... More

We visited the Red Cedar Grill with friends visiting from New Zealand. We went a little later in the evening on a Saturday night and were greeted with a very quiet restaurant. It was close to 9 p.m. and our waitress was friendly and efficient. Appetizers are half-price after 8 p.m. and it was our decision to try them all!... More
