We went for the first time a couple of Saturday's ago. Upon entering I thought we were going to have to wait but did not. We were slightly confused by the direction of the menu so we asked our waitress for advice. We ended up really enjoying what we had but they were probably one of the simpler items on... More

We visited the Red Cedar Grill with friends visiting from New Zealand. We went a little later in the evening on a Saturday night and were greeted with a very quiet restaurant. It was close to 9 p.m. and our waitress was friendly and efficient. Appetizers are half-price after 8 p.m. and it was our decision to try them all!... More

Nice atmosphere, good food and good service. But the manager/owner/guy in charge that was present the day our department had our holiday luncheon there was rude to us and to his staff so we will not be back.

We were a party of 8 celebrating a birthday. Dinner was at 7 pm on a Sunday and the restaurant was very quiet. Just another table. Waited 15 minutes to have our drink orders taken. Ordered the calamari for an appetizer. Excellently prepared. Crisp with a flavorable dipping sauce. Also ordered the mexican poutine, made with sweet potatoes and mopped... More

There are a lot of popular places to eat in Williamston these days. However, don't forget about the original. We shared great apps (brussell sprouts and bbq pork sliders were awesome).

Ate lunch here on a Thursday when Michigan artisan made cocktails were half off. The prickly lemonade made with cherry vodka, prickley pear and limoncello hit the spot on a hot day. The waitress was very helpful explaining the menu and offering us tastes. The pork sandwich was large and tasty with blackberry and ancho BBQ sauce. The gumbo was... More

Clearly the best salmon I've ever eaten! ( they won't share the recipe:(...) Wed night burger and fries for $5.00 is a real winner too. Very nice setting and QUIET so dining can also include conversation without shouting to one another! Accommodates large tables if you have a crowd with usually very fast service. Let them know if you have... More

We went in on a Monday, so it wasn't full. I should make a note that it was nice that they were open on a Monday. I started looking for restaurants in East Lansing, and most 'nice' places were closed on Mondays. I was happy to find a place open, so I made a reservation for dinner at 6:30 maybe... More

We were in East Lansing for a graduation and decided to try the Red Cedar Grill in Williamston, since we had not made reservations in any of the East Lansing restaurants. Williamston is about 10 miles from East Lansing and a short drive on the expressway. There is limited parking on the side and street parking in front and around... More

But, I believe the unit price per serving, well, somewhat, "high,". I appreciate the management and goal of satisfaction. I just believe them high in their pricing.
