Great food, large portions in a welcoming environment

Just down the street from the outstanding Williamston Theatre, Gracie's is a great place for a nice meal before a show. The bar appears to be well stocked, too. We both had pasta dishes for our main course and both were delicious. Each of us had leftovers that were just as good the next day! Staff... read more

Had passed this place several times while visiting Williamston, but decided to stop for a light lunch. We immediately saw the sign out front advertising Tuesday as being half off cocktails. Since it was Tuesday, my curiosity was piqued. The waitress gave us a list of Gracie's special 1/2 price cocktails. I had a great Bloody Mary; my husband had... More

After Gracie's lost their chef (to Tannin) a year and a half ago or so, we heard horrible things about the food so stopped making the drive out to Williamston. Decided to give it another try last night and had mixed reviews. Wine list has shrunk considerably, though they have a workable range of options. My lamb was great, though... More

Impressive! Comfortable fine dining! Interesting menu choices! Staff is knowledgeable about food and wine/beer parings!! Who knew that dark robust beers should be pared with dark chocolate desserts!! Great experience! Learned a thing or two and eager for more! Can't wait to see what next menu change offers. Loved the local artist displayed on the walls. Kate J

We lived in Williamston for several years and were thrilled to see an upscale restaurant open in our town. We've been there for several occasions and always enjoy it, the atmosphere, food and service is great.

We were disappointed in the very slow service, with the waitress in the bar more than the restaurant tending to her tables. It took quite a long time for the meal to arrive well after others who had come in after us had been served. The food was bland but the appetizer was hot and good. The music was repetitive... More

We visited Gracie's Place for our Anniversary and had the best meal and dining experience. They had a guitarist playing that added wonderful ambience to the restaurant. The restaurant is kind of retro eclectic, very cozy and inviting. The meal was out of this world!! Great wine list and beers. And the desserts also very decadent!! I have to say... More

Beautiful restaurant with gorgeous silver tin ceiling directly across from the historic Williamston Theatre on south Putnam Street in downtown Williamston, Michigan. The food is delicious, served by young warm staff. We split the grilled roast beef & salami sandwich which included sweet potato fries. Gracie's Place Bistro is worth the ride from the Detroit area, less than one hour,... More

My wife and I had dinner here recently and it was a real disappointment -- the interior is nice, with a beautiful tin ceiling, but the food we ordered was uniformly bland and uninteresting, and very seriously under-seasoned. Wife had a beet salad that was really more a bed of lightly dressed spinach leaves with a few pieces of cooked... More

We dined here on 9/6/14. It was a Saturday night with very few patrons. I ordered stuffed chicken and my husband order the burger. The chicken looked wonderful and I sliced a small piece and ate it and offered some to my husband as well and we were both impressed with it. I then ate the potatoes and green beans... More
