We were visiting family in Michigan and barely had a few hours to stop and see Grandpa. "Let's go for ice cream!" we offered! Pekadill's was close by, and I am glad we stepped in! Inside there is a traditional ice cream soda fountain - with lots of choices! Great decor with the feel of throwback to soda fountain days,... More

We went here for and evening ice cream and had a great time! The service was excellent and so were the selections. The food menu looked good too! It's worth the trip!

We love eating lunch here - and also getting ice cream! Then love to sit in one of the many different tables in the garden area - just beautiful!

The prices here a little high but they bring a turn of the century atmosphere. The decor is like an old ice cream shop that has red and white stripes everywhere. The outside garden is flourishing with plant life and steel furniture for the customers to dine. The food is pretty good and the ice cream is ice cream.

This is the place to go if you are looking for a damned good sandwich. I couldn't believe how good the sandwich was. I mean it's a sandwich? A plain old sandwich. Personally there's nothing special to me about a sandwich. I guess I was wrong. The sandwiches here are sooo good! The ordering process was odd but who cares?... More

We had lunch at the suggestion of a family member who lives in the area. It is a family owned business and the back garden area is a beautiful place to enjoy lunch. Our meals were wonderful sandwiches that are custom made on a variety of breads. They have a kid-friendly menu which made it a nice way to spend... More

Pekadill's would be worth dining at even if it wasn't such a lovely garden spot. They do have ample indoor dining space but if you're enjoying the typical superb summer weather of the Lake Michigan country you absolutely must dine in their garden, surrounded by bushes, flowers and trees, Peladill's is a casual dining spot with a very limited menu,... Standing in line like in school or jail to put my food through and the wait staff was unpleasant. I could make all these sandwiches at home.

I don't think it's possible for you to find a dish that isn't good here. All of their sandwhiches are tasty and have their own flare, even the kids options are great. My stepkids said it was the best mac n ' cheese they have ever had! If you get a chance you definitely need to stop by, it won't... More
