The restaurant is spacious with a formal setting. However, most of the people wore casuals. The service is great but a little bit slow, and the servers are polite, friendly and attentive. The food is tasty and interesting in a good way. Andiamo is a bit overpriced but I would certainly visit again.

Great place for Italian but the steaks with zip sauce are the greatest! Great service staff too. Dress is casual and the Detroit Riverfront is a great place to go too

This was a Sunday night reward, for a good week at work and did not disappoint. We sat down, ordered a couple of drinks and dove into the delicious bread basket. The best kind of hot, crunchy Italian breads, three or four different types with an amazing butter spread, to smother it! I ordered the Pork Chop dinner, pasta for... More

We were so excited to see a "show"....a nice date out....food is good but way way expensive. The showroom was very crowded...the "opening" band/singer was NOT good at all.....where did they find him? Then waiting....waiting....waiting for Clint Black (main headliner) to come out. I am sure it was scheduled this was...but he did not come out until 9pm. We had... More

Wanda Sykes Friday April 11th 2014. I found out she was coming to Metro D in early Feb 2014, however the tickets began selling mid Dec 2013. 2/2014 tickets were sparse. 2 sets of 3 were avail 65-70 each. 4,5 sets of 2 were avail at 300.+ each (ouch). Myself and 2 friends, our tickets 70 each. Our seats near... More

The service was attentive without being intrusive, the food excellent. I had grilled scallops served over butternut squash risotto with wilted spinach and grilled asparagus. The scallops were sweet and not overcooked, the risotto was perfectly cooked and the asparagus was not wilted. I would highly recommend the restaurant.

I took my sister to see Wanda Sykes for her birthday and paid $65+ a seat. When we got there , there were skinny tables jammed in like sardines. The room is so long and skinny that you can't even see the stage and they have screens hanging from the ceiling so you end up just watching TV screens when... More

We went there for dinner.Very nice atmosphere.Prompt Service. This is not a cheap place, but it is very competitive with other restaurants of the same caliber. It is a perfect place for any occasion. By yourself, couples, friends or family get together.Especially good for special occasions.

We were visiting a relative at St. John's hospital and decided to seek out a good place to eat. After driving around the area for some time and finding no fine dining, we recalled a great Italian restaurant on 14th and Van Dyke that we enjoyed when we lives here 12 years ago. Our memory served us well. What a... More

Lisa Lampinelli was great but the venue was awful. The seats are packed so tight that your knees are literally in the back of the person in front of you and I am only 5'3". The valet service was a mess. It was over an hour wait to just get to the front of the valet line. It took us... More
