Wood fired pizza

The place is old-country style restaurant at Van Dyke north of Hall road. The Tivoli salad was refreshing. Ordered margherita, calabrese, and carnivore pizza for 3 adults and two children. Dan, our server was efficient, not overly talkative! The wood fired pizzas were delicious, definitely ranks up... read more

Tivoli's makes great pizza, we usually get a carry out and ask for the Tivoli's special. They make fresh salads to order. We have always had a good carry out experience with this restaurant. On weekends they get very busy so we allow more time for ordering. We don't eat inside the restaurant because it's on the small side and... More

With having pizza in Italy, it's hard to find a good Italian pizza here in the States. This place makes great authentic Italian-style wood burning pizza. If you aren't into the thin crust, they do have deep dish.

The absolute best wood-fired pizza in metro Detroit. Great menu with so many pizza flavors. And bring your own wine to dinner.

I am in Detroit for a vacation and I finally found a real pizza Italian Style. I tried the TIVOLI'S SPECIAL with mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, mushrooms, green peppers, sliced onions, smoked ham, real bacon and Italian sausage and I loved it Great place, nice people. I will go back there

I've tried this place twice... both times because someone has raved about how good it is. I'm not impressed. It's dry, hard, and not very tasty. Maybe if you like thin crust pizza that cracks in your mouth you'll enjoy this. But I'm more of a deep dish love and this just doesn't cut it.

We took food out but the restaurant smelled great even though it is very small. We loved the Sicilian pizza. Wood-burning oven pizza was okay but crust was a little burnt. The steak sub calzone was different and tasty too. Salad dressing was the worst ever with no selection--guys it wouldn't hurt to offer packets of other dressing than the... More

These guys know how to make a real pizza. Nice thin crust with fresh toppings and cooked perfect in a wood burning oven. Best pizza in the area.

Kept waiting for this place to reopen when it did , quite exited to try the pizza. Came away somewhat disappointed. Pizza was not that good. A large was no bigger then a medium at most other places. Added a not that great salad. Picked everything up and spent $26.
