After going here dozens of times over maybe 20 years, I recently visited and I could not believe how quickly it has fallen to well below average, actually bad. In the past the food was consistently terrific and the wait staff her also consistently exceptional. I recently went there, and their beer tap was broken so only bottled beers were... More

I have been to this restaurant so many times over the past 15-20 years. I grew up in the area and started eating here for family get-togethers/birthdays. Over time, I started to go more and more with friends, family and even alone. The food is amazing! The price is great (lunch could be a little cheaper). The staff is fantastic... More

Our family has come here, or the downtown restaurant for at least 25 years! My favorite are their enchiladas and salsa and chips. The queso fundido is another choice. Great for an appetizer. All of the meals work for us. Yummy!

This restaurant has been one of my favorites for over 20 years. As long as I have been going there, the food has always been great. There have been times when the service has been somewhat slow, mostly because of the usual busy times and holidays. However, I have never sent any food back nor have I had a meal... More

I try this place about once a year just to see if things are better than the last time but they are not. This is perhaps a speck better than the original Mexican Village in Detroit, but that is not saying much. Everything made of beef tastes like a bowl of chili. Way to much powder. Why not use peppers... More

This place is great and recently renovated. They have great food and good service. It's always packed so plan for a wait on the weekends. A must try

We ordered a carry out and unfortunately the chips were old, Mexican Sandwich's beef was very fatty, and the combination plate lacked rates and the retried beans very runny. Would not suggest a carry out order and their customer service over the phone was not very professional. A disappointment all around unfortunately.

Enjoyed seafood enchiladas(crab and shrimp) with lots of cheese, accompanied by beans and rice. This was one of the everyday lunch specials, but also available at dinner. My companion loved the shredded beef chimi with lots of beef. Service was great and the atmosphere is pleasant. There is music, but not so loud you can't carry Aon a conversation easily.... More
