A good diner restaurant

Wonderful food great service I would go again when I get to come back to Detroit. The chilly coney dogs were off the hook beyond yummy. A very nice atmosphere and clean place to eat.

I got the breakfast meal and my boyfriend got a gyro and some fries and a coney. I tried to eat some of his coney and the hotdog was tough. Wouldn't recommend that, but he loved it. Boys will be boys ;). The seasoned waffle fries were pretty good but you pay a lot for a little with those. The... More

Very popular eatery, maybe because of nostalgic reasons, or the low prices or most folks like a hot dog and fries. I love chili and eat it all the time. The variety served here seems canned to me. The restaurant is very neat, clean and staffed with friendly folks. After a long drive the short walk across the street seemed... More

We were up here for a wedding and got to the hotel about 1 PM. I was hungry and knew the wedding wasn't until after 6PM. I got 2 coney's, fries and a coke. My wife got a hot dog and coke. These were just like I remembered as a kid. Nothing fancy, just good dog, bun and chili. Good,... More

Lived in Michigan my entire life but the dogs were hard. Snap is ok but this was a bummer. Came back home to visit and this was an old standby for us....but done with it. Maybe your tastes change as time goes by. Place could use an update..cleaning

Just enjoy the pure taste of a true Detroit Coney Dog. Add mustard and onions just brings the experience even higher. Some locations even offer drive thru so you have No excuse. Enjoy what all other Coney Dogs wished they taste like!

We were in the area for just one night. Arriving late in the evening, and before we checked into our hotel, we were hungry, thirsty and wanting to watch a playoff game on TV. National Coney Island was the perfect stop. Even though we were grumpy and indecisive travelers, the wait staff cajoled us in for dinner and tuned the... More
