Best pies around, no doubt about it. But their hours are not the best. They are often closed which make it inconvenient to shop there. I generally get their pies at the supermarket instead.

I love what they do and how they do it. The weekend hours are a bit goofy but call ahead and pickup a great dessert.

Achatz is not a restaurant. It's a pie store! A store that sells just about the best pies you've ever eaten. Call them first if want to be sure to get the pie you want. (They have gotten national publicity for their 4-berry pie.) And remember, ACHATZ IS NOT OPEN ON SATURDAYS because that's the Sabbath for the owners. The... More

The pies are delicious! I enjoy most of their pies that tasted so good. The pies are freshly baked every morning, also good quality fruits! I've had occasion to try many other flavors, and they've all been just as good. I especially enjoyed the Michigan 4 Berry Double Crust, Dutch Apple, and Lobster Pie. Special for thanksgiving, sweet potato, and... More

I have been picking up Achatz pies for years. I have tried several kinds and they are all delicious. You may want to call and reserve a pie on the busy holidays or they might run out.

I have been there before. The slices of pie that I have had were very good. My wife, and I stopped by there Saturday, only to see their "Closed Saturday, Open Sunday" sign. What's up with that???

Pies are wonderful for all special occasions! We have tried the Dutch apple and Triple Berry. I would get a pie from Achatz before I would ever make my own! Perfection every time!

Everything I've tried from there is delicious! Try their 3-berry Michigan pie...it's fabulous! They run out at busy times, if you're purchasing for a holiday, you may want to reserve your pie.

Homemade pies are made with non preservatives and fresh ingredients. The most expensive ones will cost you $18, but you can get a slice for $2.50. Closed on Saturdays, but open on Sundays.

The pies from Ashatz are the best, a little costly from the local grocery chains but well worth the money!
