Good food but business practices have changed for the worse

I frequent this establishment about once a month for lunch. This last time I went with a group of co-workers (6 of us in total). Our waiter gave us a bread basket with six pieces of bread after saying that they normally only give four pieces of bread to a table but since there were six of us he... read more

ordered a carryout last week and everything was delicious, fresh, and good quality. Our order was on time and we enjoyed it very much

We in Metro Detroit are blessed with some outstanding Middle Eastern restaurants, but most of the really good ones are in Dearborn. I frequented Anita's Kitchen for years, but then they shut down and I was left stranded in the northern suburbs. Not any more... I've found Grape Leaves! Consistently wonderful food with a smattering of delectable specials that keep... More

I've been here a lot. I tend to go for lunch and the sandwich choices are good and reasonably priced. I really need to try some of the more elaborate stews. Soups and salads are great as are the fresh squeezed / pressed juices.

A friend took me to a shopping center local restaurant this week for a lunch delight. We ordered one of the daily specials; I cannot recall the Arabic name, but translated it is Eggplant and ground meat in a light sauce, semi stuffed and spread across the plate into a mound of tasty rice with herbs and almond slivers. Hot,... More

When we went to go out for a bite, spend less than $40, and know it is going to be good, this is where we go. We just went Christmas eve (they closed at 6pm so we were lucky to get in by 5:30) and we have one of our favorites, chicken kabob with rice which was excellent. Started with... More

This restaurant is located in a strip mall just south of the Somerset mall. The place looks a bit run down. The lentil soup was fairly good. The Fatoush salad had the ingredients cut in rather large pieces and was not tangy enough. The vine leaves were good. The beef shish kebob was fairly good while the chicken shish kebob... More

My wife and I went here with another couple. I'm not a huge fan of Middle Eastern food, but everyone else wanted to go, so I figured eh why not. Well, our server was fantastic. He was very funny, courteous, and knowledgeable. I ordered the Kafta Shata. It was amazing! Like I said, not a huge fan of middle eastern... More

I've been here many times both to eat in and carry out. Food is always consistent with (good) taste and quality and the prices are fair for what you're getting. Service seems to depend on who is waiting on you. Sometimes it's awesome and sometimes it's just so-so. It's by far our favorite local Lebanese restaurant to go at lunchtime... More

Although the food at this location has been good overall, I was not at all impressed with the service. A week before Christmas might appear to the staff that we were out enjoying a holiday, festive dining experience; but for us it was lunch as usual on a Friday at 1:30 p.m. We were seated and were not attended to...
