I had ordered the steamed mussels off of the horderves menu. It arrived and the first bite was tasty. Then I got a mouthful of grit. Digging through the dish, I found broken shells and some that had not even opened yet. When I informed The waiter, he brought me a new bowlful of the same gritty, broken shell glop... More

If you like very different try this place. Salmon with pesto, I didn't like this; scrapped off the pesto and the salmon was fine. Barley pilaf, I like barley but the taste was like Spanish rice and had the same seasoning. I couldn't eat it and they brought me mashed potatoes with sharp cheddar cheese mixed in. I liked this... I had been wanting to try North Peak for a while, having developed a taste for their beers while living in Lansing. Overall, they are a quality business. I am usually pretty generous with the stars, and the four stars here is more at a glance, as opposed to complete familiarity. They didn't knock my socks off, but I liked... More

The restaurant was recommended by a local. My husband wanted to try the local beers. He rated them as nothing spectacular. He had the steak and fish special.. The steak was just ok but he raved about the fish. I had a monte cristo sandwhich with turkey, bacon, cheese, and cherry jam. The jam was excellent and the sandwhich very... More

I found North Peak to be highly overrated. There isn't much ambiance and the place is very loud. The service was horrible. Our waiter literally had to be told four times - yes, four times - what kind of drink my companion wanted ( a simple 7 and Coke) as he rifled through the wad of papers on his little... More

We came here as part of the Paddle for Pints event. The beer was good. It was very crowded so we didn't say very long at all. It was also happy hour time so the servers were working hard and spread a little thin. Would like to come back when it's not so packed. We've had North Peak brews before... More

Popular place for sure. Real crowded but generally reported to have good food. Had a cherry chicken salad. Was only average and surely not what I expected from Traverse City and from the price of it. Cheap lettuce, chicken breast was not good (overdone flavorless). I can get and have gotten better in the Detroit Area. My dining companions all... More

We ate here last night. We had good service and delicious food, including the grilled salmon with cherry barbecue sauce, wild mushroom wood fired pizza, and the caprese salad.

This place sucks. Food is poor. Service is poor and it's slightly overpriced. Beers are okay. There are much better options in TC.

We sat out on the patio on a breezy, warm July day for lunch. I had to the herbed fish and chips. It tasted like it was caught when I ordered it; seasoned, battered and fried perfectly! The tartar sauce and slaw had great flavor and paired well with the walleye. If you love fish and flavor, you won't be... More
