They served this Ice Cream at the finish of the Bayshore Marathon in May 2014. We loved in so much we made a trip to their store location for more!

Good ice cream and nice clean place. It was some of the best ice cream I have ever tasted. They have lots of choices and my child went on a field trip there with his school and said it was great.

Went as we heard it was voted best ice cream in USA. Maybe that made us had too high of expectations but I have had much better ice cream in 2 places back home in Cincinnati. Texture was too fluffy and half our scoop was too melted. Overrated and not worth the drive.

Moomers has really good ice cream. They have a pretty decent selection and you can get it in a cup or several different types of cones. Shakes and Malts too. Worth the trip, but keep in mind certain times of the day, the line is going to be long, but it does move along fairly well. The only thing that... More

This has become a favorite stop when we drive on a sunshine, top down day. The waffle cones filled with a single scoop of Moomers ice cream is simply the best! What more can we say.

There are a couple places In town that sell Moomers ice cream, so if you are looking for their frozen yogurt, know that you can only get it at their main location. We didn't realize the other locations aren't Moomers, they just sell their ice cream. This is a bit of a drive from town, but you can eat your... More

Moomer's was voted #1 ice cream in the country a few years back. We love the creamy, tasty flavors Moomer's makes over the last 17 years. I had my first ice cream PIE and it was the best dessert I've eaten. I ordered a graham cracker crust (Oreo is the other choice) and up to 4 flavors of ice cream.... More

First, the ice cream is great. Smooth, creamy and great serving sizes. The shop is exactly what an ice cream parlor should be--clean, bright. The part overlooking the dairy farm is great. It is a must for us to get there every time we are in Traverse City.

I love locally owned businesses and i love ice cream. But the hype over Moomers is ridiculous. the ice cream is so average and the flavors nothing to write home about. I wanted to like this place so much. But it is such a disappointment. My advice: skip it. Have gelato at American Spoon in town. This place is a... More

I traveled to northern Michigan and tried many different ice creams. Moomers was one of the best. It was very busy but the wait was worth it. Don't miss Moomer's while in Traverse City.
