Have lived in the area for years, but for some reason never really tried this place. Maybe because of the Country Western Theme. (Full disclosure I'm not a fan of Country or Western music). But the wife and I went for an early dinner (No Band) and the place wasn't real busy yet. We had heard they were know for... More

This is a local hotspot for country western. I stop here on the run between jobs and have a snack or lunch. Friendly service, decent prices and good food.

I met my husband here one evening when I stopped by to meet friends for a group of birthday celebrations. The food is great, the drinks are hefty, and the beer really COLD! They have live music and dancing and a fun group of people are regulars there. Always have a good time when I'm there...

Had dinner with my wife here last night. The food was great. I had smelt and the wife had chicken with homemade French fries. The fries are by far the best in the city. The service along with the music was great. Made for a wonderful evening out if you liked country western music.

Great service... couldn't have been more kind, attentive, or knowledgable. I had a clear view of the kitchen and was so impressed. One of the cooks was constantly stocking, cleaning, and organizing as he worked... what a valuable employee! And to top it all off... a real feel good band!

Good burgers, great wet burritos, really great fries and a variety of beers, including PBR on tap. Not a fancy place and in the winter it is mostly heated by a wood stove. Not the place to come for fancy, but is the place to come for good, reasonably priced bar food.

I've always enjoyed the Hayloft for it's quiet, rural atmosphere. Have never had a bad lunch here, and the beer is always cold.

It took 30 min before we saw our waitress, 1 hour before we put in our order. Then 2 hours later we left with burnt food in stryfoam because they forgot to put in our order and we had to be home for the baby sitter. Never will I go there again!

The Hayloft Inn is definately a unique place! An old-time country western bar filled with countless antiques and memorabila, as well as the best mexican around. Every time we travel "up north" to Traverse City we make a stop there. The super huge original Wet Burrito, the tasty Don's or Marion's Burrito, Chips & Cheese, Hot Wings and Nacho Supreme... More
