The food was decent but we felt that it was a little pricey for what we got. The strawberry milk shake was great. I would suggest ordering your fries extra crispy.

Don't put any money in the jukebox - it will eat it! Surprisingly quiet for a 50's diner, but food was good.

The food was great, but the drag on our evening was the service. Our waitress wasn't very friendly and it detracted from the experience. She was a young lady that perhaps was having a bad day or something. We told her ahead of time we wanted a shake as a dessert, but she still brought us a bill while we... More

Fun to try, but food was so-so and pricey. The small drink cup is like 6 or 10 oz...tiny. My son did like the car box they put his food in, they also charge you to split plates which I think is crazy.

Fun, retro diner that you can eat in or pull up to a speaker and get a car hop to wait on you. The hamburgers are great but be sure to get a side of the fried mushrooms. This place has been there forever and has succeeded for a reason....it has good old fashioned fare. Don't forget to order a... More

Had a burger patty melt. Very tasty and overly filling. I could have easily shared it. Onion rings were great as well. Like having car hop service as we had our dog with us.

This a diner with car service. Serves all the diner staples - burgers, fries, dogs. My family an I had burgers and fries which were greasy and tasty. Vanilla milkshake was outstanding.

While vacationing in Traverse City we passed Don's on the way to our hotel. We decided to try it for dinner. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a great 1/ 4 pound burger that they asked how I wanted it cooked. I had a big order of onion rings and a great strawberry milkshake. The food is... More
