I am addicted to the grumpy wrap here, which is sort of like greek salad, with roasted red pepper hummus added. This is a fresh healthy lunch! I am also a huge fan of getting a smoothie there for breakfast. My husband likes their soups. They always say hello when you walk in the door, and they always say thank... More

This hole-in-the-wall place is a great find. Portions of sandwiches are ample. Today, we had warm apple cider with a cinnamon stick and roast beef sandwiches on toasted rye with Havarti.. Delicious. Great little place. Wraps were yummy, too. Haven't anything bad here. Everything is great.

There are a dozen downtown restaurants in Traverse City where you can get a good meal, but "The Dish," as we locals call it, is consistently the best for lunch. Their soups are hot, fresh, and homemade and their Tomato Basil soup is the best soup on the planet-every time. Same with wraps and sandwiches and if you are vegetarian,... More

There was way to much to eat but what I did eat of the portabello sandwich was delicious! My friend had the hummus and veggie and she liked it as well (also huge)!

When The Dish first opened, it was a destination lunch location for many locals. We frequently ate their several times a week. However, that's now become a few times a year.

The short review: Day one, had smoothies. Day two, redux. The long review: Close to the bay, outdoor tables, friendly staff, nice, small casual cafe. We had smoothies and the choices were many and varied...and good!

Whenever I'm in Traverse, we eat here at least twice. It is a vegetarian/vegan dream place. They have great food and friendly service. Have yet to have a bad experience.

I worked the Cherry Festival 2014, and would come here for lunch, I had the tuna salad, which was wonderful and enough for two people, also the coffee and the oatmeal were delish. I really enjoyed the friendly service, the atmosphere, and the food. Fresh and wonderful, great smoothies. Wish there were more restaurants around that took interest in healthy... More

We stopped in for a light supper. The café wasn't busy and we found the employees to be very pleasant and helpful. The décor is casual but the food is very tasty. I had a chicken/cherry wrap; it's Traverse City so you must have cherries! The wrap was very good with lots of flavor. I asked for additional dressing and... More
