The staff and decor of this little restaurant are what made it for me. We sat in the front and were entertained by the waitresses conversing with the locals. Servers were very attentive & friendly. I had the country fried steak with country gravy, potatoes, eggs and toast. It's a lot of food and very good. Homemade bread and jam. Service was great and I felt very welcomed as the only black person there at the time.

No kidding...with actual chunks of corned beef seasoned and cooked to perfection! YUM! The owner of our motel recommended this place for breakfast or lunch and they were RIGHT ON! Wonderful service, quaint diner type atmosphere where the locals certainly know they have a good thing. If you like Corned Beef, in ANY form...check this place out!

Went 3 mornings on annual trip to Traverse City. All 3 excellent food, coffee & service!! French toast is a must! So are poatoes, & pancakes! Their omelettes are always paper thin and fully packed. Thats all we ever have there and they are wonderful. Never have to ask for well done potatoes because they always are. Good coffee, friendly staff. We've been several times and never had a bad breakfast.
