Mediocre food, poor service and the feeling that the waitstaff were doing us a favor. Not anxious for return visit. Lots of great beach views in TC without paying for it.

This popular restaurant does take reservations so call ahead. Try the hot potato salad - you'll love it!
We love T.C., but really...we're in Traverse City, not the Moulin Rouge...the staff had an attitude and the food took 40 minutes to come out...it was good, a little too salty, but pricey and the attitude brought the entire experience down two levels to mediocre, at best...might try it again on another day.
This restaurant is one of the (surprising) few on the water in this wonderful town. The lunch we had was really great. We have gone here for dinner as well, but they have better and more choices for lunch. Great views and service.
We were seated promptly at a very nice table overlooking the water, and the service was prompt and pleasant. Hadn't been here for years, thought we would give it try. Heard that they had a new menu. Went on a Saturday night. It wasn't busy when we arrived so no waiting for a table. Our waitress was prompt and efficent. My husband had to send back his cocktail, tonic was flat, no problem. I ordered the Walleye. Food came...

We had the fried whitefish and the filet. Both meals were very good. Make sure to order the bread when you sit down.....the vinegar, oil, pesto sauce is awesome! We did a take home dessert.....fudge bottom cheesecake.....to die for!
When I went, I was starving and pregnant so I am not sure if this will be an unbiased review or not. The food was great, but we had to wait so long that I almost blacked out and by the time the food came, I was so miserable in the depths of utter starvation that I couldn't quite enjoy...

She split the sandwich for us back in the kitchen and gave us separate plates to share the sandwich. The view of the bay is fantastic. Also, prices were fair. We...
