I had a pasta dish and it was pretty bad. I sent it back (which I rarely do) and got a burger. The burger was good! Our server was fantastic! Made up for the so so food!

We visited Poppycocks on a Saturday night without a reservation and were happy to get a table. We enjoyed reading the menu with all the flavor and food combinations being attempted. My daughter and I split the veggie tostados appetizer which were like yams spread on a black corn taco chip. Providing more topping would have been an improvement. We... More

Perfect place for vegetarians and those who want something unique. Nine of us ordered a variety of dishes. All came piping hot and nicely plated. The potpie I had was ok, but my daughter's pasta dish was delicious. Pumpkin coconut soup was more of a puree but had fantastic flavor. Service was excellent.

Several days have passed since a friend and I stopped in for a light meal and a glass of wine. We'd both had great past meals here but I felt compelled to review this time. I ordered the butternut squash ravioli with toasted walnuts, Gorgonzola and thin sliced honey poached apples. It was more than sufficient for a light meal,... More

I know this restaurant has gotten very good reviews, so maybe I visited it on an off day, but really the food was just eh (especially for the price). My veggie pot pie was salty. I feel like they may have put too much energy into making their dishes unique, sacrificing the taste. The service wasn't very friendly either. On... More

Very busy little restaurant! Great food! The entrees were inventive and unique. Corn cakes were delish!

My wife and two of our friends went to Poppycocks on October 7th, 2014 for supper. It was a little crowded and seemed like it would be a good choice. Service: Condescending Impatient Food: My wife had the Veggie Pot Pie and she enjoyed it for the most part. The crust was done well, but the dish was very salty.... More

I can't say enough good things about Poppycocks; from the welcoming, comfortable decor to the friendly staff, to the excellent food, it was a great dining experience. What sets Poppycocks apart from other restaurants is their food options for all kinds of diners, including vegetarians, vegans, halal, kosher, and gluten-free folks. We started with the tostado appetizer (vegetarian and gluten-free... More
