Stopped in for dinner and was very impressed. It looks very casual, wooden booths and a bar but the food is terrific. Vegetarians will be happy to see at least a half dozen entrees on the menu. A long martini menu is offered as well as other creative drinks.

Great food and great service! Staff were friendly and prompt. I ordered the mushroom ravioli, thinking, meh, been there done that, but ravioli sounds kinda good tonight - it was fantastic! Like REALLY good. Go there.

Food was great. The pita chips with cheese, salsa and hummus is to die for. Had a great well priced meal. Very good service. Convent location on front street

Whenever I travel to Traverse City I always make sure to stop in for(at least) the dip sampler appetizer. I think about it all year long and it never disappoints! Not only is the dip amazing, but the rest of the food and the desserts are top notch. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my family and friends.

I keep trying Poppycock's and they keep disappointing. Either the food order is incorrect or the kitchen is very slow or we get an unfriendly server. The last visit was for lunch, and apparently the kitchen was slammed because it took at least 20 min for our 3 orders. This time though, the server was great! Maybe you only get... More

We have been to this restaurant before, but found it even better than we remembered it! We had dinner on a Sunday evening, and were relieved that they took reservations. My husband, an excellent cook himself, said the brisket was "very good"….does not often compliment….prices were reasonable for the quality of food, two entrees, one cocktail, and dessert was $65

We had a wonderful time here! Friendly staff, good food, and you have to try one of the goodies from the glass case - so delicious!

This is a booth style restaurant with some very interesting and tasty dishes. I had chicken confit which was delicious. The prices were reasonable. The service was slightly confused with the waiter asking us if we wanted to see the dessert menu whilst clearing away our appetiser plates and the waitress was a little too touchy feely for my liking... The sign that said "Martinis" caught my eye. Ben mixed me up a Tito's up with blue cheese olives. Perfection! Was only there for a quick cocktail but the tomato Swiss soup caught my eye. Wow. Damn good soup. I will be bringing my wife back to enjoy a full meal in the near future!

I have eaten here many times over the years and it is one of my favorite places in T.C. Today however, my experience was terrible. We walked in and were directed to a table. We were then asked if we had a reservation, which we didn't. At that point the server literally turned around and took us to the worst... More
