I am not a shopper. So when a friend wanted me to go to Traverse City to look around I was less than excited. We were staying on a river and I was happy to stay put! Fortunately we stumbled upon Poppycock's just after arriving. What a great menu!!! We all tried different items on the menu. Each dish was... More

We stop in with every trip to TC because the food is consistently excellent and creative. Glad some things don't change.

My husband and I went here for a late dinner. Live music came on soon after. Wasn't "Jazz" as advertised but enjoyable. My Michigan Salad was delicious ! Hubby had prime rib which was yummy but 50% fat. He cut it off and put it to the side. The waitress saw this and asked to bring it to the back,... More

We were seated and immediately and served water. Our waitress came to our table in a reasonable time. The bread served before dinner was amazing but that was only the beginning. I had the steak special cooked to perfection.

Here on a Friday night. Only had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. The place was packed and I knew why. Excellent food and service here. I've been here for lunch and dinner and will go back again. Varied menu.

So many places to choose from for a meal in Traverse City. We read good things about this one and the place was always full- a good sign. We make reservations the night we wanted to go and got it just fine. Others around us at the door didn't have reservations and their wait was only 10 min or so.... More

After visiting this restaurant 20 years ago, it remains much the same. It is located in the center of town and is wonderful, with California quality food. I mean, they use real ingredients. I enjoyed the local walleye, and beer of course. Service was quite friendly. I spoke to a bartender about fishing; a favorite local topic.

Stopped in for dinner and was very impressed. It looks very casual, wooden booths and a bar but the food is terrific. Vegetarians will be happy to see at least a half dozen entrees on the menu. A long martini menu is offered as well as other creative drinks.

Great food and great service! Staff were friendly and prompt. I ordered the mushroom ravioli, thinking, meh, been there done that, but ravioli sounds kinda good tonight - it was fantastic! Like REALLY good. Go there.

Food was great. The pita chips with cheese, salsa and hummus is to die for. Had a great well priced meal. Very good service. Convent location on front street
