Pricey but special...beautifully decorated, enthusiastic service, great variety of meals...we were a big group so we ordered a whole variety of meals, from filet, to fish, to soups, salads and they were all excellent... Great choice for a special occasion...

We had corner table by the water. The view, the service, the food and the drinks were all outstanding. Everything was delicious!

Our return visit to the Boathouse was for lunch during a day of wine tasting on the Old Mission Peninsula. It was as good as we remembered with thoughtfully prepared food presented by well trained and attentive, but not hovering, staff. I had the lamb sausage with couscous and an endive salad. Outstanding! My wife had corn chowder and ahi... More

After visiting several wineries on the Mission Penisula we headed to the Boathouse for lunch. The restaurant sits right on the shore of Traverse Bay, great view. The initial service was slow but after taking our drink order it improved. We ordered pretty standard lunch items noticing that the prices seemed high. When our lunches came they were pretty typical... More

Yes, this restaurant is a little pricey, but hey we were on vacation! However, glad we stopped for lunch instead of dinner keeping the cost down. We are always on the hunt for unique menus and here we enjoyed not only that but great views and service. A nice splurge on our "Wine Trail Vacation".

Though pricey, this gem of a spot is a real treat! The food is all deliciously prepared and the views are phenomenal (go when the sun is setting!)

Very nice setting next to a marina with a good view of the bay. We just had drinks and appetizers there. Everything was good. Kind of on the gourmet side. Pretty small portions but adequate. This would be a pricey place to have dinner but probably worth it.

My husband and I had just finished several hours wine tasting on the Mission Peninsula when we passed by this restaurant recommended by our B& B. We had a very delightful lunch overlooking the bay. Service was top notch as was the meal. We started with a craft beer and a great gin specialty drink. We shared appetizers of the... More
