Wonderful location and the Sunday brunch buffet was very good. Nice area on the lake side to sit outside and relax after brunch.

We went there for a very expensive birthday celebration. The food was good, but not great. We had a wonderful bottle of wine. Our waitress was the pasty chef and charming. The Boathouse had hosted a wedding reception earlier in the day. We had Kobe Beef, Lobster and Rack of Lamb. Our appetizers - salads and shrimp cocktail (wonderful sauce)... More

I love this place and wish I could make it there more often. Hope to make it there some time for all you can eat oysters but they only have this on holidays I think.

The appetizers, entrees, and desserts are all excellent. A raw bar is featured several times a month, and oysters are regularly available. Fresh seafood, Kobe beef (or the US equivalent) are all here, and the breads are all good. Local food sources are used to a great extent. Traditional and inventive sauces are presented, with new ones being generated daily.... More

Keep your eye open in the Traverse City area sometimes the Boathouse will run a $120 for $60 deal. I have not had dinner there but I imagine it is just as good. It is a... More

Dinner at The Boathouse during Traverse Coty Reastaurant Week! Limited menu during restaurant week but one of the best meals we have had!! Great service from the bartender, server to waiter. Looking out at the winter landscape of the Penninsula glad that we were inside, the view is incredible. We will be back for sure!

The Boathouse never fails to disappoint. We go there for special occasions and always have an excellent meal. The wait staff are knowledgeable and the changing dinner selections are always a treat.
