Best pasta in northern Michigan.

This is hands down some of the best food in northern Michigan. The piccata was divine. The spaghetti sauce is very good with perfectly seasoned meatballs. The best part is the hand made pasta. The minestrone soup was delicious with a wonderful tomato base. Every time we have ate here Jim has... read more

I went to Spaghetti Jim's with my wife expecting a great italian meal, mainly driven by all of the positive comments here on tripadvisor. Our experience was quite the opposite. Not only did we get seated at a table with a great view of the dishwashing area, but we experienced some of the worst service we've had in a long... More

Went to Spaghetti Jim's on the last Friday of the Cherry Festival - even at noon, there was no waiting in this unpretentious little place. Husband had the chicken Cesar salad while the son and I went for the pastas. Both our entrees were good. I'd rate the service only ok, and the intense garlic aftertaste for hours even after... More

Was surprised that this is located in a strip mall, but it's out of the way and a true Hidden Gem! Yummy, truly homemade pastas (you can tell!) and delicious sauces! I ordered their signature spaghetti and meatballs and loved it (so did my picky daughter) and my husband got a panini. If you can spot their tiny sign, try... More

Spaghetti Jim's was terrific, start to finish, in catering our dinner event for 30. Ours was an informal family reunion gathering, but a special occasion. Jim helped us hit just the right balance, equipping the tables with nice white tablecloths, flatware and glasses and offering a family-style buffet that included a lovely antipasto platter, salad, great entree options, and fabulous... We were looking for a spaghetti dinner during our trip to Traverse City, We had looked on line for an Italian Restaurant, saw a few high end choices, but when we looked at menu on line not one of them offered spaghetti & meatballs. Spaghetti Jim's was the last one we looked and we were glad we continued to look,... More

This restaurant has some potential with some tweeks. The food was very good. Their signature spaghetti and meatballs was exceptional. Made with fresh pasta and homemade mozzarella stuffed meatballs in a robust sauce it was defining. My daughter enjoyed her spaghetti carbonara. All entrees are served with a small salad with isn't much to speak of. Portions are good and... More

If you can ignore the atmosphere you must come here for food. The homemade pasta was great and the sauce was just right. If there would have been a glass of wine next to my plate it would have been perfect. Our kids thought it was the best spaghetti and fettuccine alfredo they ever had and we can't disagree. Thanks... What a great surprise. We had seen Spaghetti Jim's on Trip Advisor and decided to take a chance. We ordered two different entrees and both were excellent. Fresh, homemade noodles and hot. We even got to try one of Jim's homemade meatballs. Next time that is all I am ordering. Don't look for fancy white tablecloths, but if you want... More

The home made pasta is great. Caesar salad was just the way I like it (light lemony dressing)! I've come 50 miles just to get a bag of the almond cookies (to eat all by myself!). A good value as well, quite casual.
