Beyond our expectations!

We decided to try Spaghetti Jim's as we were driving by. So happy we did. The food was delicious, fresh and spiced just right. We had spaghetti and meatballs, chicken Thai noodles and garlic bread. All of the food excellent. Cannoli made fresh daily.

My first visit left a great impression! All pastas and sauces are homemade. I had papparadelle pasta with bolognese sauce. The sauce had declicious spices and it was served with roasted meats instead of ground. We also had the chicken parmesan. It was incredible! The coating on the chicken breast was thin and crisp; the pomodoro sauce fresh and the... More

Four of us wanted to sample the new owners food and were greatly disappointed. Food was OK, service was OK, but nothing was exceptional, not even outstanding, only OK.I do not think any of will return.

This used to be a great place to get take out pasta. We stopped by the other day and found that it has closed. There was an article in the local paper saying that the owner is retiring but hoping to sell to someone who wants to continue in that location.

I used love this place, but now it is awful. DO NOT GO!!! -We were sitting in an nearly empty room while two waitress ran back and forth to our table each saying the other was our waitress and would take care of us because they were so busy -It took 20 minutes to get drinks (we ordered waters) -We... First of all we were seated (in an almost empty dining room) right next to the server station. We asked to be seated by the window. The server acted very bothered the entire time we were there. I would ask a questions, she blurted an answer and would turn on her heels as fast as possible to get away. We... More

Had dinner with wife and friends on a mid-week evening. Not crowded, but service was sketchy - nobody asked if I wanted a refill on my iced tea (Yes!), dishes were stacked on our table (by us) then almost reluctantly removed and tje waitress rang up our bill 4 times before getting it right... BUT!! The food is Great! Homemade... More

I often rely on tripadvisor reviews when traveling for work or leisure with a pretty good accuracy rate. My experience at this restaurant was the single biggest discrepancy between the reviews and our experience in all our years of travel. Comments by category: Location and Physical Attributes - the restaurant is located in a run down plaza with zero ambiance... More

Reasonably priced, fresh, tasty Italian fare served with love in a casual setting. Homemade pastas, pesto, etc. One of my favorites in Traverse City!

We had lunch at the office and ordered take out. They forgot the side salads, so we had to go back and get them. On the plus side, they gave us free cookies for our trouble. I ordered the Pasta Americana, which was basically spaghetti with baked cheese on top. It was VERY greasey (from the cheese?). They gave a... More
