This was the second time we have eaten at Old Mission Tavern, and loved it! We were celebrating our 43rd wedding anniversary. The choice of entrees was eclectic and reasonably priced. We had rack of lamb and tenderloin with a crisp salad and side vegetables. Everything was terrific and made on the premises.

We enjoyed a lovely, well prepared and yummy late lunch. We each had a prime rib sandwich made like French Dip, but with way better meat than I have had before. The sides were delicious, the wait staff was pleasant and the setting was quite nice. We enjoyed a stroll through the Bella Gallery while we waited for lunch to... More

Enjoyed a few afternoon drinks with friends with Johnny our bar tender. Really cool locals bar atmosphere and surprisingly good bar food! Lobster mac n cheese was awesome! Great finish to our final day in TC! Good times.

We had a terrific lunch of their chicken and cherry salad sandwich and fresh house made soups. Staff was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.

Excellent food, lovely environment. A fine art gallery to peruse while waiting for a table. Wait staff is attentive, even helping with one another's tables.

On our way back to Traverse we stopped here for dinner. Food was good, not the best, but average. The waitstaff was wonderful though! Everyone was friendly and helpful, and our water glasses never reached 1/2 empty. If you are up on old mission during meal time, stop by and save the hassle of finding a place in the city.

Entered the Old Mission Tavern expecting just that a tavern. Inside we found a upper scale dinning establishment and a art gallery. Not what we expected or what we were looking for but ended up a good experience. The food was excellent. The smoked whitefish was very good and served on a very large platter. Easily a lunch for two... More

We were looking for a nice dinner option. We consulted the West Bay staff for suggestions and the Old Mission Tavern was one of them. This is a small quaint place. Dinner was fabulous. Prime rib is excellent. My daughter had the sea food Alfredo pasta and loved it. Burgers are huge. Highly recommend to anyone and will keep this... More
