Excellent service

My husband & I enjoyed this quaint place that also has an art gallery in the back room. Our server Chris was exceptional from menu choices to tips on area sights. I would highly recommend this restaurant

Tucked away 10 miles north on Old Mission Point between East Bay and West Bay, this is the nicest restaurant around. Look for the 2 daily specials which were a fish dish and a beef dish....as these provided the most value. Whitefish is the local fish. The whitefish provencal was well prepared in a large portion. Surprising as this filled... More

The lunch menu mentions a split plate charge of $2 several times. We soon found out why. The sandwiches and burgers are huge! The soup of the day that I chose was a tomato based one with spinach and Swiss cheese. Delicious, with chunks of tomato and onion, spinach leaves and the subtle taste of the cheese. My ham on... Our favorite destination for our anniversary dinner. Flavorful, perfectly prepared and we have not had anything we didn't love. My personal favorite is the wild mushroom pasta (without the chicken). We've come back every year since 2008 when we were married.

If you want a quaint, personal , upscale meal please give this one a try. Excellent service. The food is divine. You must have dessert. Not for family dining. Young children are not recommended, at least by me.

My wife and I have been here twice in the last 4 months. She has gotten the walleye with cherry garlic butter both times ...... Enough said. My first time was the rack of lamb which was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. Service is good atmosphere feels homey. We will go back.

This is a good restaurant, with the added benefit of an art gallery. The restaurant walls featured artwork that you could buy, and there was an adjoining gallery with even more artwork. The menu was varied. We had extreme carnivores, pescetarians, and everyone in-between, and everyone found something on the menu that they wanted to eat. I got a seafood... More

Yes, it is 15 miles out on the Old Mission Peninsula but so well worth the drive. Prime rib, chicken artichoke, ribs, lamb, and if you miss Mom's cooking, try their outstanding liver and onions. Cozy in the winter with the wood burning stove going and delightful in the summer surrounded by orchards. If you are so inclined, it is... More

Old Mission Tavern is one of my favorite eateries in the area. Have never been disappointed by the food or the service, since it has always been good. We especially like the Sunday chicken dinners. I have never had such tasty chicken. Better get there early as they sell out fast. All other entrees are just as good.

Wonderful restaurant!! My husband and I both ordered the daily special, blackened whitefish over linguine. It was amazing!! Also had a cup of the best clam chowder I have ever had. Cant wait to visit again!
