This place is a must stop, anytime I'm in striking distance of TC. Awesome with pastries (no for reals!!!), breakfast dishes (both sweet and savory), and they have great locally roasted coffee from Higher Grounds (also local). For breakfast or brunch, expect about a 30min wait or so. Party size of 4-6, but past that is a toughy. Going here... More

This quaint French bistro is a must stop for us every time we're in Traverse City. It's a small place, with limited amount of tables, but a great ambience. They also serve pastries to go, located in a pastry case when you first walk in, although we weren't entirely impressed with their pastries when we tried them. The "Chez Peres"... More

My friend and I went here for breakfast. We waited at least an hour. It was extremely busy with very limited places to sit. I ordered the special of crayfish... something Id never tried. It was not the greatest thing Ive ever had, but it was very good. Took home a few pastries to my kids, and nobody was impressed... More

We where very pleased. My hubby had the Peasant Omelet as recommended by our daughter and I had the French Pancake with strawberries. What can I say? There must have been two cups of fresh whipped cream, the pancake was tender, the strawberries sweet. My hubby throughly enjoyed his omelet and his dish also looked and tasted amazing. Pleasant quaint... More

We went here based on our bartender's recommendation. We were not disappointed. The service was friendly and attentive. Our waiter chatted with us and gave us recommendations on the menu AND on other places to visit in town and out on the the peninsulas. My husband and I shared an egg dish, poached eggs on grilled bread with a cheese... More

My wife and I went to Chez Peres October 10, 2014. As usual we found the restaurant based on TripAdvisor reviews. We had an excellent meal and great wine. I had my trusty IPad with me to quickly look up ratings on Wine Spectator. The lowest ranking wine was 88 (and that's a high score) of the ones I researched.... More

The food here was terrific, especially for a "breakfast place." The selections on the menu are really wonderful and different from your run of the mill breakfast place. Most breakfast dishes run in the $9-$13 range, but the portions are substantial and every dish we had was very tasty. (We went three days straight for breakfast!) We had the special... More

Four hungry travelers found high reviews for Patisserie Amie in line and tried it for breakfast. We started with coffee and beignets. Delicious. We ordered eggs Benedict, honey almonds crepes, French omelet and cheese omelet and every dish was full of flavor and the best French cooking we have had in the USA. We will definitely go back.

I wanted to like this place so much after reading all the awesome Trip Advisor reviews. Went on Saturday morning at 8:30 - had a good 20 minute wait (had to seat 3 groups of 4 ahead of us) before they would seat just the 2 of us - even though there were 2 empty 2 tops available. We did... More

The food was very tasty & fresh. The atmosphere was nice & the staff was friendly. We visited around 10:15 on a Sunday & waited about an hour for a table. We were a party of 5. The wait is not as bad for smaller parties. Once we were seated, it took about another 1/2 hour for our food order... More
