We're located in the heart of downtown Traverse City, Michigan just a stone's throw from the Boardman River and a few blocks from Lake Michigan. Forget any pretense or fanciful impressions of white linen and maitre d. Patisserie is a relaxing French holiday for your palette. Our food is elegant but very much down to Earth. Imagine that small cafe' on the Champs-E'lyse'es where you had a perfectly flaky croissant. Or the bistro near the Sorbonne where the waitress' lilting accent made you melt like the butter on your hot baguette. Or the unforgettable sense of place while you stood under the Arc de Triomphe sipping a Cafe' Au lait in the early morning light. Chefs Eric and Keil along with their staff, excel at providing a unique dining experience for anyone venturing inside our doors. Whether its for the French waffles, crepes, and omelettes for breakfast, the tasty salads and sandwiches for lunch, or the mouthwatering specialites of our Bistro dinners. Be prepared for something you'll want to talk about. Call us for a reservation, or visit our FaceBook page for the latest cafe' talk. The food was very tasty & fresh. The atmosphere was nice & the staff was friendly. We visited around 10:15 on a Sunday & waited about an hour for a table. We were a party of 5. The wait is not as bad for smaller parties. Once we were seated, it took about another 1/2 hour for our food order... More

This restaurant takes me back to Paris every time I eat there. The food is authentic made with quality products and wonderful combinations of flavors! The also have one of the best cups of coffee in the TC area. I have only been to the Parisserie for breakfast but am excited to visit for lunch or dinner sometime soon!

My husband and I ate here for breakfast while vacationing in Traverse City. He was skeptical as he has hearty appetite and thought French food would not fill him up or be very appetizing. I'm so happy he was proved wrong! I forget the name of what he had, but it was a flat bread with eggs bacon and cheese... More

The pastries are amazing, lovely little financiers, tarts filled with almond paste, croissants. Breakfast is packed, be prepared for a wait, but it's definitely worth your while. Crepes, omelets, bowls of hot chocolate for dipping baguette. Everything is fresh. A refreshing change from the usual greasy spoon for breakfast.

Recommended by locals as one of the best breakfast spots in Traverse City. They were correct. My wife and I really enjoyed our breakfast and the wonderful wait staff which was very attentive. Pricing is very reasonable for this French experience. Definitely a must for those traveling to TC.

This is one of our go to places when we hit TC. It is very authentic and charming. It's a tiny little place off a side street near downtown. We have only had coffee and crepes here but, they are by far the best we have had. I always get the Cafe Moka and this time we had the Strawberry... More

The food is fabulous, had a savory crepe for breakfast and it was delicious. Unique flavors. The service was very slow, though. I felt bad for the people waiting at the door for a table, they could have sat down sooner if our server was on the ball. Don't go if you are in a rush!

If you don't mind waiting to be seated and also for your food, go, and believe me I would and did and it was worth it at this place! A nice, rather small place, decorated in French style with an outdoor patio also. Our omelets were the best we have ever had! Many selections and you can choose savory ones... More

Their actual location is 237 Lake Avenue, telephone number 231-922-9645. Once we found it, we were served with some of the best french food I've had in a long time. Terrific and super omelets. I even got the escargot which was very flavorful and garlicky Highly recommend you make this part of your Traverse City adventure.
