Changed a lot since we last went 14 years ago!

I believe this pub is now owned by Enterprise INNS. A group of 8 of us decided to have lunch here and walk along the Thames river bank afterwards to where our sons went to school 20 years ago. We lived in the village then. The pub has been extensively refurbished and is a great improvement on the... read more

Many thanks for your kind review. The building may be owned by Enterprise Inns but it has been leased by the Hannah family for the last 12 years and it is they who have carried out the refurbishments. Just thought we let you and everyone now know. If you had told the staff about your burger, we would have happily... More

Lovely village pub with excellent Restauant. Friendly staff, especially the manager called Kenvin. Best Dover Sole ever.

Brilliant pub to pop into when walking the Thames Path! We came in for lunch without a booking, was warmly greeted and enjoy a well presented and tasty meal - great menu with plenty of selection!

I have been to the Baskerville a few times and I have to say it is one of the few places that is consistently fantastic! I came in with some friends over the bank holiday weekend, we didn't book and they were very busy but they still managed to accommodate us. I ordered the parfait and squid which was delicious,... As locals we eat here every two months or so so thought it was time to write a review. The menu is always interesting largely using local ingredients. Deserts are creative and home made. We always come away pleased to have eaten at the Bask. Good local beer selection my favourite being Lodden. Staff have personality. My daughter is a... More

We pre-booked a table for a Mother's Day Sunday lunch albeit a week later than it should have been. We read some good views on Open Table, I'm happy to report we were not disappointed. We had the roast beef and scallop and pigeon starters; all was well presented and the quality of the food, excellent. The service was prompt... More

We popped in on a busy Sunday afternoon after cycling. On arrival we was told they were booked however, noticing we had traveled a distance they found a table for us. The food was great, quick with a friendly service.

We've been to The Baskerville quite a few times now, and it NEVER disappoints. The food is excellent, as is the beer and wine selection, and Kevin (the manager) always remembers us, which is a nice touch. Two people shared the Pan seared wood pigeon breast which was apparently very good, I had the Baskerville 28 day dry aged Aberdeen... More

When here for a late Sunday lunch on 1 March. We made the booking using open table and Kevin the manager recognised and acknowledged us from a previous visit. Nice touch. Although out booking was for 3 PM we never at any point felt rushed to finish our dinner. Lovely warm and cosy dining room. Attention to detail in all... More
