Food was bland, dried out, and barely lukewarm. Tasted like it was frozen and heated up in the microwave. The "lemonade" did not at all taste like it had any lemon in it, more like really bad fruit drink trying to be lemonade. Coffee tasted like it was 6 hours old. The restaurant was dirty, decor was worn out, service... More

We went for a family lunch. It was not my choice of place, but I had never been so what the hey. Walking through the doors was just the first of many disappointments. The decor was poor and outdated. The waitress was timely and pleasant. The menu was very limited compared to the many other Mexican restaurants I have patronized.... More

The waitresses were very friendly but food was just ok. The tortillas was COLD, not even close to being warm. The food was hot in some areas and cold in others. Clearly using a microwave. I have been there before and it was not like that. Hopefully it was one of those days.

Waited 10 minutes for a waitress, 20 more minutes for simple daily special to arrive. (would have left except I had aready ate some chips that the hostess put on the table). After done eating waited another 15 minutes to get my bill. Food was ok (standard Tex-Mex fair). There is no excuse for this lack of attention. It doesn't... More

It has been about 6 years since I have last visited Amigo's. The wife is extremely loyal to a closer Mexican restaurant. I convinced her to try Amigo's this past weekend. I remember having a Mexican pizza that was fantastic and my memory was correct because I ordered it again many years later and it was just as good. We... More

My husband and I found ourselves at Amigo's after walking out of a restaurant down the street because of filth (Beirut Gardens). Amigo's was very busy, and I can see why. Despite how busy they were, the service was very fast. The food was very good and cheap. We only spent $15 for dinner for two!

I've been going to Amigo's since I was... what, two? I grew up in the area and have been going to Amigo's for damn near 30 years. Now that I'm a man (kinda), I travel a lot for work and have spent plenty of time across the country, internationally and in Texas. I've never found anything that measures up to... More
