Malek Al Kabob is a great place to go if you are in the mood for a healthy but delicious meal. At first when you step into the restaurant it feels as if though you are in the middle east somewhere, but it is very charming! The decorations are beautiful and the music is very enjoyable! The service is excellent... More

If you haven't tried middle eastern food before and are curious, this is the best place in the downriver area to visit. Not sure what to order, I suggest trying a fatosh salad, a chicken shawarma, and some hot bread with the garlic paste. The staff is very attentive and the cooks will have you craving their grilled cuisine 2-3... More

I walked in not really hungry. Had to wait around the airport for 1.5 hr. What's is TA #1 near DTW? This place. I walked in not really hungry, but walked out stuffed cus I didn't want to leave a bite. Perfect flat bread. My wife said this food rivals her mother's cooking. She willingly jumps at the prospect of dining here. They have some of the best lamb dishes. Their salads are overflowing and spiced wonderfully with lemon and garlic. My favorite is their sandwich special with sandwich, a side and drink one low price. Breads are made in an oven right in... Always friendly people when walking in and seem to be in a hurry to get your food to you hot and quick. Food is excellent, always hot even for take out orders when you get home. Tons of flavor and never over or under cooked. Hummus is to die for!

My wife and I stopped here for dinner on a Tuesday evening and were surprised how busy it was. Not only in the sit-down portion of the restaurant, but there was also steady activity at the register for take-out orders. The warm pita bread and garlic sauce arrived shortly after we sat down. That sauce is so good, we could... More

First time eating here the other day with my aunt. First they bring you out piping hot, freshly made bread, with a yummy garlic paste. Oh, my gosh! So yummy. We both ordered fatoush, and it was delicious and fresh. We had the hummus, which was average, but good enough that we scarfed it down. I had the chicken gallaya... More

If you're in Taylor, stop by. The food is delicious and the prices are well worth i! The only issue is parking. At times it is difficult to get a spot, but if that's the case, get it to go!

I am not a frequent middle eastern food eater but this place is quickly becoming a go-to for me. The food is great quality, the staff is nice, and I always have an all around great experience.
