We ate outside and the area under the canopy is very nice. They really have done a nice job. The band who plays here are great. The food was mostly very good. The Scallop Chowder was excellent, The side of spinach was not very good, just too dry for creamed spinach. Service was a bit spotty. My son's steak came... More

I had the crab cakes which I would give a B-. My wife had whitefish which she said may have been the best whitefish she had ever eaten. We had a very nice dinner with the exception of a table of 4 who were far too loud all evening. They bothered every patron. The key lime pie, however, left a... More

This restaurant was highly recommended to our family. We gave it a try but found the food not all that exciting, flavors plain and uneventful. What we liked about it is that it is small and quaint, the staff is friendly and it is a lovely environment for spending an evening. We would prefer however the food outshine the atmosphere.

dear "Quaint , I cannot understand what you mean by "quaint" other than to think you mean "old fashioned, homey, feel good etc. I strive to serve the best food that I can. If that is "quaint", so be it. thank you for taking the time to write a review. Martha Ryan More

After reading the negative review of August 2 I felt the need to respond. My husband and I were dining that night as well. I have worked in the food and beverage industry for close to 30 years and this was my observation: Upon arrival we were greeted by the host who, in my opinion, seemed out of sorts. The... More

dear "give it a try'. Thank you for your kind comments. I cannot say how much it means to me to have someone totally understand a situation as you have done. I cannot say anything else except thank you. Martha Ryan More

I am so very disappointed in the seating. The Chef's table, I could see everything. The waitresses verbally abusing the host. Our waitress Debbie was good, but slow as she had a big party. Westly should be fired as she was the trouble maker. My husband as hit, shoved and kicked all evening in his chair. The food was good.... More

If you willing to eat outside, you can bring your four legged friend. We brought our 8 week old puppy who charmed everyone and got people talking cross table about their pets. The menu is varied and the food is very well prepared.we think that Martha's Table as simply one of the very best restaurants around! I loved my lamb... More

We had dinner on two different evenings at Martha's. The menu offered interesting choices and our selections were both attractive and very tasty. Martha's is a first-class restaurant in Sutton's Bay.

Martha's is a nice place in Suttons Bay to have a relaxing dinner. It is not large, and during the season a reservation is essential.

After reading reviews, we have wanted to try Martha's for several years, but each time we visited, it was during the later afternoon hours and they were closed. Today we finally made it! Our party of 6 enjoyed delicious sandwiches on the patio! They were exquisitely executed with a unique infusion of flavors. My sandwich was crafted on toasted cherry... More

We had a veggie panini with "fresh" mozzarella that was very rubbery, pesto that lacked flavor, creamy soup that was bland and had grease spots floating on top. The BLT was fine. Outdoor seating was nice with a good view. Server was neglectful, but a drink server was very attentive and friendly. Not sure what else is in town here,... More

Dear "not sure why", I am sorry that you were not happy with your food and service. I will tell you why I am recommended by many people in and around this area. I serve very fresh food sourced from area farms. I am proud to use Sysco as one of my suppliers of local foods. I use organic sourdough... More
