This is place my wife and I have been meaning to try for some time. We were wine tasting in the rain on the peninsula and wanted to take a lunch break. The place is small and cozy. We got in just after the large lunch crowd and were promptly seated. Had the Cuban sandwich and the beet soup. I've... More

I recently rode my bike the length of the Leelanau peninsula on the wheelway through wine country to Suttons Bay from the outskirts of Traverse City. On arrival about noon, our group stopped for lunch at Martha's Leenanau Table on the main drag. The atmosphere is artistic color mixed with old cottage ambience. The staff are intelligent, genuine, and caring.... More

Hi there, thanks for the great review. Yes we do get lots of bycyclists since we are very close to the trail and also on the "main drag" going through beautiful Leelanau county. Glad we were able to fill the bill for your group. Stop in and visit us again. We are open now through the end of the year... More

I was impressed by the service, fast and very friendly. There are many better food options in the area.

We were in the area for a family wedding and ate both dinner and breakfast at this spot. The food was great and they were so accommodating for the ever changing number of our party. Be sure to try it if you go through Sutton's Bay!

We stopped here for lunch and had great soup and sandwiches. The tomato bisque soup had a fresh salsa taste to it that I loved. I had a turkey bacon sandwich with pesto that was on fresh bread that was wonderful. I would definitely come back.

Stopped in while touring the Leelanau peninsula. It was lunch time and it was raining...a good reason to take a break. I had read about Martha's in a local magazine and thought it looked interesting. We started with the raclette cheese plate (which, if you don't know about this cheese, you must try it!) It is served the way the... More

Wonderful place and food. The owner even drove us home as we were stuck in a downpour and had walked there. Unbelievably kind.

Martha's is an absolute gem. A fine, elective menu made with local ingredients the the extent possible, with a comfortable, at home feel, and reasonable pricing. Our starters of eggplant fries (lightly dusted in rice flower, dredged in buttermilk and panfried), prosciutto with salad, and their signature scallop chowder were all outstanding with the fries being really special. The main... More

After an day of wine tasting with food pairings, we wanted something lighter for dinner. While I was tempted by the menu, I opted for the Soup Du Jour and the crab cakes. The soup was a butternut squash bisque, that was very flavorful and rich. It had home made croutons that really accentuated the flavors in the soup. The... More
