We ordered LA Kalbi, Chige, and fried noodles, and they were yummy. But, the real deal in any Korean restaurant is if they have good side dishes, you know those little dishes that you did not order? Our serving person told me that the owner hired a good cook and it made a huge difference in the business. Since Shilla... More

Took my Korean wife out for lunch last week so most of this review is based on her input as she’s the expert on Korean food. She had the Bulgogi and it was good, not too salty not too sweet and very tender. The Dol Sot Bi Bim Bap I had, (which the wife took over half way through lunch)... More

I went here with some friends, it was my second time here. After originally hearing about this place and its new management, I checked it out. The bulgogi is fantastic as is the bi bim bap. The barbecue side is the way to go, as you can elect to cook your own proteins if you wish. I have yet to... More

Wow was I impressed with this place! New Seoul Garden used to be our first choice for Korean food...not any more. Chung Ki Wa takes the title! First good sign: The place was crowded with Korean people and their friends and families. They were chowing on all kinds of delicious looking foods. Noodles were being slurped everywhere and the sizzle... More

I've been here for lunch & dinner. Lunch is a great price & plenty of food! Dinner cost quite a bit more but the food was wonderful! I hadn't had Korean Bulgogi in far too long & I'm very happy I found this place!

Good Korean food and sides, which is hard to find around here. As a bonus, the interior is clean and pleasant. Most food is reasonably priced. The barbecue is a little expensive, but sushi is cheap. My Korean wife said that the bi-bim-bap was better than most restaurants in Seoul. Don't hesitate to go.

I tried this place when i first moved to the Detroit area and was definitely not impressed. After hearing it was under new management, i decided to give it another shot. It was so yum, i can't wait to stop in again. The kalbi tang was super tender, and full of flavor. the sushi was also very fresh. the korean... More

We had to make a trip to Detroit to visit the Italian Consulate to complete some paperwork for our wedding in Italy in June 2011 and our friends who were acting as our witnesses recommended this restaurant. It was amazing! Our friends were 'regulars' there so we let them do all the ordering and we were not disappointed! Every item... More
