Super Delicious!

Everyone in and around town knows about this place. It's not huge, and it does get quite crowded, but it has yummy food. Their breads are very good. There are some tables, but don't get your heart set on sitting at one, because if it's a busy time, you probably won't get one. It looked like they... read more

Went there for fresh bakery goods to share with clients. Fresh baked scones so perfectly made . Flavorful, variety and I thought the cost was pretty good. The pizza, desserts looked very yummy too. I hear the pretzels are awesome also. If you're looking for fresh coffee bring your cup, no waiting there's a fresh brewed container just outside the... More

I have visited the Village Baker a handful of times since they've opened and they've made great strides! There breakfast offerings are delicious and imaginative and there treats are always good! The bad is that their service is oftentimes slow and not as helpful or nice as they could be. All that food to choose from is overwhelming! A recommendation... More

We especially enjoy the pizza at the Village Baker. The service is outstanding. A place to come in, sit down, relax, and converse. It may be the first time you meet an employee, but you always feel like you’re on a first name basis. No “plastic". fast-food atmosphere here. Our most recent bread buy at the bakery was the Irish... If your in the area looking for lunch or baked goods it's a good stop. It doesn't compare to the big city bakeries. However, it's one of the best along southwest Michigan lakeshore.

By far, this is the BEST bakery I have been to ever. Everything on the menu is excellent and the owners & wait staff are simply the best!

This is one of a kind as far as bakery's go. There selection is unbelievable. We stop almost every few days to pick up some wonderful bread or baked goods. I have only had lunch once but it was excellent. They do close on Mondays so stock up over the weekends.

Been going here since they opened several years ago. Many changes over the years show the hard work the owners put in to make it the success it has become. Great bread and food and friendly service to top it off.

Not only soups but pastries & bread. Great food, good service and fair prices. My wife and I eat there often.

Nice cafe/bakery/restaurant. I'd say it has a limited menu, but what they do serve is good. ie...different versions of fried egg sandwiches for breakfast, crepes, french toast or waffles. Lunch is mostly soups, stews, sandwiches and salads and dinner is different varieties of Pizza.
