Love this place; the sandwiches, pizzas, and quiche are fabulous, and of course the baked goods are delicious as you'd expect. Very popular with the locals and visitors alike. Closed on Mondays, so plan ahead!

I have enjoyed this place ever since they established themselves in Spring Lake, MI. The food has been fantastic, but I'm going to highlight the pretzels. They are the best. Don't pass up going to this place!

We had quiche, which was thick, moist and tasty. My cousin was surprised to see it served with vegetables, such as cherry tomatoes, instead of fruit (there was a slice of pineapple) for breakfast. She didn't eat her vegetables (but would have, if it were lunch). Black and tan coffee is very good. Pastries are superb.

You will not be disappointed!! The owners truly put their heart and soul into this café (as well as another nearby in Grand Haven - "the baker's wife"). The coffee, breads, meal items are done with great quality!! This couple goes above and beyond to make this place a special treat to all who enter. They take time for themselves... More

I really like visiting the Village Baker after 3 p.m. because that's when they serve pizza. Their pizza is 100% home made and they have a wonderful selection of toppings. The only thing missing would be a nice glass of beer or wine, but no matter. The quality pizza makes up for it. The baked goods are excellent also. The... More

Most of the times i've been here I've had good experiences. The food is generally delicious and the atmosphere is charming. One complaint is that when I sit down somewhere (especially with a young child) I would much prefer that I don't have to leave the table to get my own coffee. I would at least like the option of... My family and I love the village baker. They have great muffins especially the cranberry orange. The pretzels are to die for, make sure to get mrs. Dogs mustard with them. Everything I have tried there has been very good.

This is more of a bakery, but have a nice breakfast and lunch menu. They feature Saturday dinners by reservation only. The staff is very friendly.

I'm just reviewing the bakery, though they do have great sandwiches too. Plus they also have pizzas and now a weekly fine dining weekly dinner which I have yet to try. These are truly the best muffins and scones around. Literally being pulled right out of the oven and into your bag in the morning. My favorite is the blueberry,... More

When you first look over the menu here, it doesn't look like anything special. However, there is a lot of creativity in how they do soups and sandwiches. The combination of ingredients are a lot of fun. It's nice to see simple done well.
