Nice atmosphere, good food and service, but prices were outrageous. We asked for a small amount of extra cheese beyond the complimentary amount on the table, and were charged $4 extra. The bill was close to $400 for 4 people with very limited alcohol (2 glasses of wine). At that price, you'd think they could have picked up the extra... More

Met a good friend for Dinner @ Bacco in the middle of our first Ice Storm for the season. When we first arrived we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. Service, food and drinks was amazing and by the time we left no one was on the road. It was a fish day and we shared the Halibut and Sea... More

This is the second time we ate lunch at Bacco Ristorante. Our reservation was just before noon - the holiday lunch crowd was just getting started. The restaurant was full, but the noise level was ok. The menu is authentic Italian and the food is delicious. One of our guests is vegetarian - there were several delicious options for her... More

We had a wonderful dining experience from the minute we walked in. The restaurant is full of energy yet not so loud as to make dining uncomfortable. Everyone at each table seemed to be thoroughly enjoying their meals. I chose (w/ the server's assistance) the octopus appetizer which was on the specials for the evening - a combination of the... I know this restaurant gets a lot of hype, but I can't say I was greatly enamored or impressed by anything we had. Perhaps I should come again and order my own items, as everything brought to the table was picked out by the chef.

Ok, I never go to Italian restaurants when I'm abroad. But sometimes I end up in one when someone brings me there for a business dinner. ppl were telling me great stuff about this place before getting there - but I really cannot share this view. Service is ok - but you pay for it. Most important, food was definitely... More

My wife and I were fortunate enough to obtain a reservation on short notice to celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary. While my experiences at the restaurant have always been stellar, it had been a number of years since I had eaten there for dinner, and I thought that it is a great "special event" place. We were not disappointed. The... More

I have been to Bacco many times, both lunch and dinner. I think they have some of the best Italian food in the area. It is a bit pricey, but worth it. Enjoy. Reservations are a must on weekends.

If you're looking for gourmet acrobatics and fireworks, seek your thrills elsewhere. But if you want consistently wonderful Italian/Mediterranean food that is both traditional and creative...as well as excellent service in a lovely atmosphere, this is the place. It never disappoints and isn't that really the key to longevity in a restaurant? It's also one of the few places you... More
