I went to the Southfield location today with 3 co-workers. The service was slow and lacking. The food was just OK but nothing great like Fishbone's used to be years ago. This restaurant has really went downhill and sacrificed food quality. I will never go back and would not recommend this restaurant to others.

Was on a business trip, and met some friends for dinner. They recommended this place, which was near the hotel, so off we went. The food was OK, not great, decent gumbo, fried alligator was crispy, if kind of flavorless. You get the idea. So, since I was on an expense account, we told out server "Coco" (not her real... More

We stopped in for a quick drink before a dinner party. Nice atmosphere and besides dinner tables they have low couches for a 'loungy feel'. A nice Scotch and wine list. And Laura was very friendly and nice to visit with.

The service when I have been their wasn't very good, the food was good, and the atmosphere is good. If you like New Orleans style food your will enjoy it here.

Years ago this was a nice place to dine......now with poor management and poor training by Mark the general manager it runs like a broken clock. Kids standing behind a kiosk unable to welcome a guest with courtesy and a simple smile. The fact that the computers crashed and the bartender was filling out diners chit receipts by hand.....was only... More

We have been fans of Fishbone in Detroit for years, and this was our second time eating at the Southfield restaurant. We ordered our favorites--some were good, and some had changed in bad ways. For the good: The Cajun Caviar (crawfish appetizer) was fabulous as was the gumbo. For the bad: You changed the muffaletta, and it is no longer... More

15 of us went to celebrate the graduation of two of our young ones at Fishbones in Southfield. We originally planned to go to the Downtown Detroit location but changed our plans because of the amount of events in Detroit this day. The fact that the entire restaurant was nearly empty should have been a clear indicator of things to... More

My March visit was the third time I've ever been to Fishbone's. I've been satisfied every time. Some of the menu items can be a little pricey, but anything I've ever ordered has tasted great! Also, they have a really nice & clean bathroom. This is important to me because I hate eating at restaurants that have nasty bathrooms.

We used to love Fishbones, the only complaint was that it was hard to get into. We stopped by a few weeks ago, a Friday night and we were surprised to see how few people were there (it should have been a clue). The short answer is that they have changed the menu from just cajun to now including italian,... More

I recently dined at Fishbone's Cafe in Southfield with a few business colleagues. We chose the restaurant totally at random, but it looked decent from the outside. I was surprised that for a Tuesday evening the place was pretty dead. But we still gave it a shot. My first thought when we walked in was "What horrible lighting". The restaurant... More
