Always good food at the South Lyon Hotel

You can always expect good food at the South Lyon Hotel. It doesn't matter if you are ordering a sandwich, Bison Burger, Pizza or Ribs, EVERYTHING is always good!!

Sometimes it nice to find a place where everyone knows your name. This is that kind of place. The managers and wait staff make you feel like you're at home. Besides they have the BEST wings and blue cheese in Michigan. Where else can you find friendly people, live entertainment and great food? Answer: South Lyon Hotel

Fun place with many good food choices including live entertainment. Nice private room available for parties. Friendly staff. Great for families. Many TV's for sports addicts. Old time authentic ambiance.

I am a pizza lover, so are my friends. We visited this place and the BBQ chicken pizza was very good. The only downside is that we had to wait 30 minutes to be seated but it was worth it, we had a good time.

My husband and I had lunch at this restaurant on Oct 31, 2014. Some of the staff was dressed in Halloween costumes. We each had a glass of wine - I had the Merlot and my husband had a Cabernet Sauvignon - both tasted good. I had the hotel's classic salad which had a grilled chicken breast on top of... More

Unfortunately the South Lyon Hotel menu has changed again. Nachos are horrible. Unseasoned hamburger with cheese over it on a skillet. Removed more choices that we enjoyed ordering. Service has gone down hill. Don't return to check on how food is or refill drinks. Managers less than willing to make things right. No reason for us to return.

Good food with fair price. Nice atmosphere . Love the old building and history. Owners and managers are on top of things in this busy hometown place.

I have lived in the area for 40 years and have eaten at the South Lyon Hotel many times; me and my wife even booked a shower there some years ago. Last summer I had a friend of mine do some work at my house and decided to treat him to lunch there about half way through the job. Our... More

A restaurant/bar that was a former hotel in the 19th century. It has two levels, each with it's own bar. The food is really good, and I have never been able to finish a hotel burger due to it's size. Very friendly waitstaff. Even when crowded, wait is minimal.
