Busload of seniors

I'm the bus driver for the Northview senior center and this last week we brought 5 busloads of 29 seniors to dine at Clementine's. The meals were selected in advance, the server had to take down the order for each table. All 29 meals came out flawlessly. The staff was friendly and attentive, the... read more

There's always a line here. No matter how often we go, we can't fathom why? Food is no-hum. What it does have is ambiance. But cuisine doesn't live up to potential.Best item is fried onion rings. It's the type of site where it looks like you'll get fabulous soups and salads. Imaginative combinations and comfort food. need some fresh chefs!

Clementines was pretty good! The spinach artichoke dip with breadsticks was fantastic! A little dark and almost dingy atmosphere, but a really cool historical site. Used to be the central town plaza center- barber's, bank, doctor's office, etc. Charming, good food, just seemed a little on the cheap side.

We stopped in at Cemintine's for a late dinner. My wife had the "Treasure Chest" - shrimp & linguine tossed w/ mushrooms, tomatoes & spinach in a garlic basil alfredo sauce. I ordered the "Roscoe Ribeye" - 12 oz charbroiled ribeye steak topped with white wine shallot butter and onion rings. Both were excellent! Great atmosphere! Great service! Great food!... More

The perch dinner used to be the draw for our family but tonight it was a let down. About 7-8 small pieces and was heavy tasting not light and dilly. Tartar sauce was mostly mayo & bland. The 12" stack of onion rings was very good and we all enjoyed. Maybe we'll just get the burgers next visit and pay... More

I ate dinner here while traveling. The service was good and the server was able to recommend a locally brewed beer. I had a bowl of some of the best French Onion soup I have ever eaten. I chose a bacon cheese burger that was cooked perfectly and very satisfying. The decor is cute with assorted wall decorations. I would... More

Clementine's was a decent meal for the price, although I don't think warranting the hype it seemed to have. We arrived on an early season Saturday night, expecting a wait...which there was. There was about a 1/2 hour wait for a table, so at the hostess' suggestion, we sat at the bar for the wait. We sat next to a... More

Nothing bad to say, our server was good, the meals were decent sized and decent price. I liked the decor of the restaurant and the wait time was reasonable.

While in the area in the late spring we stopped--it is prominent on a corner in Downtown South Haven and since we have seen it has been busy in the past we thought that we would give it a try. The space is large and open by the combination of a couple of old storefronts. We were greeted promptly but... More

This is in an old building that is decorated to be pleasing to the eye and has lots of character. the service was good even though they were extremely busy. They have a good amount of room to wait for your table and have a drink. Service was surprisingly fast. Food was good but not spectacular. We split a dinner... More
