Five stars for the bakery where you can purchase reasonably priced and unreasonably delicious fresh baked from scratch treats. Try the cheese horns! We also had breakfast in the cafeteria and that I would give 3 stars for the food - edible and average but still 5 stars for the friendly helpful welcoming service. We love this bakery and still... Bakery is excellent. Cafeteria breakfast is ok. Nothing special. Price is just ok and not much in service since like being back in school.

If you are looking for a simple and/or quick breakfast stop by the Golden Brown Bakery. There are wonderful sweet rolls, donuts and good coffee to satisfy your sweet tooth. Also available on the cafe side you can order your choice of breakfast at the counter and eat inside or outside. I enjoyed the eggs and toast with beverage special... More

It's the closest thing to a Tim Horton's in the area, and conveniently open at 6am for early risers like us. Bakery section is well done, good selection, freshly baked assortments. We came back for lunch and had sandwiches. It was sort of disappointing, personally I think they should operate the bakery and close the cafe. Maybe there is some... More

The Golden Brown Bakery Cafe is a must visit place in South Haven. It has two parts. The front half is the bakery which is often crowded, so be prepared to wait your turn. The staff is helpful and friendly, and the baked goods are well done. I especially like their breads, their cheese danishes, and their cinnamon rolls. The... More

1 star is a stretch for this place. $26 for greasy tasteless food that we had to order high school cafeteria style and the 'lunch lady' obviously hated life and was rather sour. What a complete waste of time and money. The bakery looked good, we should have just had a baked item instead of the hot mess we ordered.

First of all the picture at the top is wrong!! This gem is located downtown south haven on Phoenix street and they have the best donuts around. My daughter goes every Friday before school and gets a special treat. She calls it "donut Friday". I must say she loves it and looks forward to her trip there. Her favourite is... More

This little bakery was amazing, with a huge selection of tempting goodies in glass cases. We're from out of town, there on a vacation, and have nothing like this where we live. The frosted Halloween cookies were big & beautiful, but the exceptional items were the gooey goodies on the side case; chocolate dipped mounds cakes, covered with piles of... More

Multi-grain bread was very good but the cookies were dry and seemed a bit stale. Probably would keep purchases to bread products.
