The oysters and calamari were good. The other food not so much. At least I haven't cared for it my last two visits. They do make an awesome Bloody Caesar though. They need to bring in a chef and spend a little time learning how to cook the food. A little investment could make this place amazing.

My grandma and I ate here in May and had a great experience. We both had the walleye, and it was so delicious! The presentation was beautiful as well. The service was awesome. The waiter told us about the area when we asked but gave us our space to socialize, as we hadn't seen each other in awhile. We felt... More

We were really disappointed by our experience at Thirsty Perch. We were seated at a table in the bar - moderately comfortable, but they really had people packed in (uncomfortably close together). Our server was friendly but very slow. We started with the smoked whitefish and artichoke dip. It was a very nice artichoke dip, but I'm not sure there... More

This is essentially a bar that has decr raw bar. Perch itself was just average. Service was attentive but not a must go. Taste much better restaurant.

Service was slow. The restaurant was out of quite of few selections, but in all fairness, there was a large weekend event in South Haven. That being said, the perch was average.

My husband and I were looking for a place to eat. Everywhere went went to had a 1 1/2 - 3 hour wait. We ended up stumbling across the thirsty perch. I am not a seafood person so I was a little iffy on eating here. But wow the food was great. We got the lobster Mac and cheese. This... More

We come to South Haven often and have tried The Thirsty Perch on 2 different occasions. Both times we sat down and waited for 20 minutes for a server to come to our table. The food was disappointing, my baked potato was reheated, probably from the previous day, because it was hard and cold on the inside. Overall it was... More

I ate there last week and had a special salmon dish that was not on the regular menu. I would have to say it was probably the best Salmon that I have had in a restaurant in a very long time. It was a bit more expensive for their menu items then I thought it would be. The service was... More

Thirsty Perch food is average, and it's more expensive than other restaurants in South Haven which have better food. We've been there twice in the last 2 months and have not been impressed.

I had the pan-fried perch dinner with fries and cole slaw. My dinner companion had the pork chop with a cider glaze which looked like something Fred Flintstone would have (huge!) and we shared the whitefish and artichoke appetizer which came warm with good bread. Both entrees were about $18/19 which seemed a little pricey, but we both enjoyed what... More
