This restaurant and bar near downtown Sault Sainte Marie along the St Mary River is a throwback to the 50's and 60's and maybe even earlier. Claiming to be the city's oldest dining and drinking establishment, it leaves something to be desired from the outside. You actually walk in a back door and weave your way around to the main... More

The food is average but as another reviewer said, people go to Antlers for the atmosphere. If your idea of a good time is hundreds of old, dusty stuffed animals...taxidermy, not toys, then this place is for you. I'm not a card carrying member of PETA, but this place makes me sick to my stomach. You can do better in... More

Well, we've been to Antlers a few times before and it was great! Today, not so much. The ice tea tasted real bad, like it had been sitting there for a few days. The onion rings were very good and my bison burger was very good too. But the service was just ok. The food took a long time to... More

We hit up antlers for burgers. They were nothing special. Not bad, but not amazing. Just kinda consistent. Decor was cool which saves the rating a bit, if you are into that stuff. Poor service is what killed it for me though - probably wouldn't go back, but wouldn't say no if it was someone else's call.

The atmosphere is unique and the reason to go there. It is PACKED with stuffed critters; great for adults and children and, yes, they sound bells, whistles and sirens to celebrate someone's special occasion. We cannot eat meat because of cholesterol. Since we only eat veggie or fish, I can not comment on the meat dishes. At the Antlers, we... More

Aside from my food being dropped and then waiting until almost everyone in my group was done eating to get my meal, it's not a place to eat healthy. They have pretty much nothing for a vegetarian- they could at least have a veggie burger on the menu as an option. The whitefish plank I ordered was very good- I... More

This is not the Antler we all remember. It's not that fun bar with the bells and whistles and whatnot. This is now a boring family restaurant. The worst part is that I have found their service lacking. I ordered a steak medium. Got it well done without the onions and mushrooms. They let my steak sit in front of... More

It is a very happening place so we had to wait for a little bit but once we got in the food was great, the service was a little slow but the place was packed so understandable. There was an interesting decor so that made for some fun photo ops. I recommend going to antlers while in the area.

There is a reason it is called "The Antlers"! There are antlers of all sizes EVERYWHERE, along with animals of all types. Lions, polar bears, moose heads, birds, badgers............... It was a fun place to eat! Our food was very good too. My husband ranked this his #1 meal of our trip. He had the cedar plank whitefish dinner. Other... More
