The Antlers Restaurant is one of those quirky, interesting, fun, UP restaurants that always manages to live up to its reputation. The food is good, there is something to see everywhere one looks, the staff is friendly and fun without coming off as phony or scripted. The food was excellent - and was served quickly and hot - in spite... More

Antlers used to be the place to bring family too when I was in college. We were back in town so we thought we'd try it. Bad service and bad food. I ordered the sirloin steak which was fat and grisly. The veggies consisted of sliced carrots with one piece of broccoli and one slice of zucchini. Four of us... More

We love to try local restaurants when traveling. This is different from anything we have ever seen. The food was good. The decor is interesting. There are stuffed (taxidermy not plugs toys) animals EVERYWHERE. It is interesting to look around. The only down side was their buzzer system for the wait staff. Whenever an order is ready the cook buzzes... More

This was a really unique restaurant! I had the chicken breast with rice pilaf and it was delicious! My hubby enjoyed a bison reuban sandwich that was wonderful! Our waitress handled our party of 11 with ease!!

The food is great and the atmosphere entertaining! Tons of wildlife artifacts, and stuffed animals. Service is excellent. We discovered a menu item that is the best ever -- their home-made apple pie with ice cream and whipped cream. A little expensive, but well worth it!!

Our group of 11 people were all very happy with their food choices. Perch was very tasty and my husband had the ribeye which he said was very good. My 1st experience with the Antler's was 40 years ago when I came to visit Lake State. I visit every time I return to the Soo. Interior has the outdoor feel... More

My wife and I both had the fried perch last week at Antlers for lunch. Yummy! There was plenty of fish on the plate! It was nicely breaded and well cooked. It came with fries and coleslaw. The coleslaw was particularly good. A hint of sweetness without taking over the flavor. Service was quick and good. The atmosphere is really... More

The food is nothing special and very pricey. They were out of the chicken & dumplings that is served in a bread bowl (this is what my husband really wanted) He ended up ordering a pretty average $10 burger and fries. The kids liked their meals. I liked my food, it's just that you really won't feel like you got... More

I arrived on Sunday at 12:30pm. The place was packed so they suggested I sit at the bar. I ordered a Rudyard burger (ground buffalo burger) and a coffee. The dining area is decorated with antlers everywhere and stuffed animals including a polar bear. Pretty soon they announced it was going to get loud. They pulled some ropes from the... More

I have visited this restaurant every time I go up to the Soo and it had always been a fun, friendly place to grab a bite to eat. The last time I was here, however, was horrible. Our waitress was rude, they had taken off virtually everything that I like from the menu (mind you, I am not a picky... More
