Early evening and only 4 other couples in the place, very slow to get drink orders, & finally came back for food order. When food finally came it was lukewarm. Not the place it used to be.

Ate here for dinner. There were 5 different soups, all homemade available and a nice, clean salad bar. They have sandwiches, full dinner entrees, and breakfast served all the time. We had the prime dip sandwiches with au jus sauce. One of our party had the advertised apple French toast, which was very good. You get plenty of food and... More

They have everything on the menu. Soup and salad bar was awesome! I had the cheeseburger soup, refill after refill, it was great. It was very clean and the staff was very nice and willing to go above and beyond. I would recommend this place.

We ordered the steak and perch dinner tonight. My suggestion would be to pass on this one. The perch was a strong fishy taste. It was probably the worst fish I have tasted in a long long time. I have my doubts that it was even perch. And the steak was no hell either. The only thing good was the... More

Not fancy, but they offered a good, solid menu and our lunch was all that we were looking for and not over priced.

The food is home-cooking good. They have an extensive breakfast menu and good lunch/dinner choices. The place appears very clean and service was good. It could use updating. But for a menu that will appeal to most, this is one of the best choices in the Soo.

Went for breakfast. Wasn't anything to write home about. Omelette was good. Homemade toast bumps up the rating. Nice home fries and awesome biscuit too! Good option if you don't want to go downtown. Especially since we lost country kitchen :(

This place is a throwback to a family owned diner with good food, excellent service and a home feel to it.

We had 2 meals here on a recent overnight stay. They have good comfort food and the place was pleasant. it is not 5 star dining but we were happy with both meals. They have home made chips, which are always a favorite of mine. Breakfast was good also.
