I went there for wedding party catering. I went to the store and called several times. Apparently, Larry, who is in charge of catering isn't interested. They are one of the only stores who sell croissants, so went there inspite of all to pick them up. It took nearly thirty minutes to get 5 croissants. Customer service sucks. I won't... More

We had the huevos rancheros for brunch here, and it was very good. The service was quick even though the restaurant was quite busy. The deck seating was very nice, loved being able to look out over the street!

Pretty cool spot with a lot of space to account for how packed it gets! Ordering is by cafeteria line which is a bit odd but quick and efficient! Breakfast is served in cast iron skillets which added a fun touch! We sat upstairs of one of two decks in the restaurant. The place also offers a great food selection... More

You order at the counter and they try to find you amongst 2 floors of tables to deliver your order. If you don't like hashbrown casserole, you won't be having potatoes with your breakfast. Wait staff of high schoolers isn't very quick. Bakery goods were dried out by 10 am, and just fair. For the big $$, it's probably worth... More

I'd go for, and usually do, go for their famous cinnamon roll. it's infectious! One bite and you're hooked, and if you can finish the whole thing, that all the more better. They have a very casual breakfast inside, upstairs, and outside and always to be jammed with people so they are doing something right. A little secret, want a... More

We enjoyed our two breakfasts that we had here. A little pricey but not too bad. Buscuits were very fresh the first time, but the second time, they were probably the day before's buscuits and a wee bit dry. They had awesome looking pastries, which I opted not to have, but they were very tempting. Looked homemade!

We stopped in for lunch and really enjoyed it.You order in a line deli style. The menu had plenty of options. I had the chicken and mushroom quesadilla and my wife had tuna salad. I also had a Bells IPA to drink and my wife a white wine. Everything was fantastic. The atmosphere was welcoming. There was a local musician... More

Both times I have requested something be added to or left off my order, it hasn't been right. If you stick to the basics, straight off the menu, it's fine.

Pumpernickels is a great place to stop for breakfast or lunch in Saugatuck. Their baked goods are wonderful too! The restaurant in right in the middle of town, a fun place to sit and watch the crowds go by in summer. This restaurant is open year around.

Truly the best place for breakfast in Douglas Saugatuck area. Decide which delicacy that you want then order pay and it is brought to the table. The potato pie is awesome. Thinly sliced potatoes laced with sliced ham with a superb cheese sauce. It is accompanied with three slices of watermelon and a freshly baked warm biscuit. Every aspect in... More
