Great location and food

Right in the heart of downtown on Butler St. They offer great food, atmosphere and often have live music. Outdoor eating area couldn't be better.

Cannot go to Saugatuck without stopping at Pumpernickel's Eatery. While we prefer breakfast, lunch is equally good. I have had every item on the breakfast menu and each and everyone is good. But go easy because the sweet rolls and pastries at to die for. Delightful staff and building with great character. Don't miss this fine eatery!

Was there on a weekend off peak season and it was quiet. Nevertheless they still had live music which was a boost and made all the difference for being there because it was good (tip the musician). Tried the daily special - beef burger, and it came sizzling hot in a skillet accompanied by a couple fresh lettuce leaves, onions,... More

As a frequent visitor to Saugatuck, we are sure to stop at Pumpernickel's to get the Maple Buns. Pumpernickel's has good breakfasts and lunches. It has patio seating, as well as, a few sidewalk tables.

It is a great place to grab breakfast or brunch because their food is amazing and it is in the middle of town so great people watching. For once don't cook breakfast and enjoy something new......you'll enjoy it!

Unfortunately the food was not great. My husband felt that the cole slaw was store bought as it tasted pretty lame. Not a great dining experience.

A restaurant shouldn't be allowed to serve breakfast if instant boxed potatoes are part of the offering. Go to Monroe's instead.

A good cup of coffee and a fantastic cinnamon roll. What a way to start the day! Cute and cozy with a nice view of the Main Street.
