My family and I visited the Butler while on a vacation to the Michigan west coast. We were looking for a place to grab a quick lunch before taking off to our next destination. We were hoping to sit outside on the deck, but the deck was packed and had a long wait. So, we opted to sit inside. The... More

Love the views, the martinis, the fireplace and the staff! The food is amazing from the fresh fish to the spicy chili.

I had the cooked pan walleye and my bf had a sirloin; both were cooked perfectly. Our server, Emily, was fantastic. Fresh veggies the end of November was a nice touch.

I loved the old Butler Restaurant! The history of the place when it was a hotel was very interesting. I ordered a Bloody Mary which was a little watery. I had the fish in chips and my husband had a french dip. Both were delicious. The fish and chips were crunchy and well seasoned. We enjoyed relaxing after our meal by... More

I, as well as two of my friends, got hamburgers which were delicious but they compared to Red Robin which is also good. I suggest ordering their Spinach and Artichoke dip because on the menu it stated that they make it right their and quite honestly it was one of the most delicious I have ever had in comparison to... My husband and I were in Saugatuck for the day just last weekend. I had read great reviews about Phil's prior to going but when we got there, the place was packed so we decided to go elsewhere instead of waiting. We walked down the street from Phil's and saw The Butler and decided to give it a shot. We... More

I went back to Saugatuck for a visit after several years away and stopped at The Butler in memory of old times. It was a great burger with an incredible harbor view, just like old times. The staff was very nice, even letting us know that the shift was changing and introducing us to our new waitress.

We enjoyed their special burger. Try the cherry pie. There is a nice water view. The history of the hotel Butler is interesting.
