We stopped for a late lunch and were very glad we did! He had an incredible piece of fish and I enjoyed every bite of my very delicious Caesar salad and homemade tomato soup. Helpful servers, nice atmosphere and a great water view. Need to come back and try several of their other entrees. All looked yummy!

The chicken was cooked just right. The view at the window tables is great. If your looking for good food at reasonable prices the Butler will work. Our server was very good.

Food is average, used to be a lot better. They were always known for their clam chowder, now you can get better chowder in a can!

This is a real relaxing atmosphere. A very warm feeling. The food is excellent. Is it the BEST meal I ever had? No the best meal I ever had cost the 2 of us $265.00 This food is all around really good for the cost. The Lobster Mac & Cheese is to die for. The New England Clam Chowder is... More

Even though I had been to The Butler before, my friend had not and she loved it. I was very close to where we were staying and it has a wonderful view of the harbor. The food, the service and the ambiance were excellent.

Very much a tourist trap of greasy food and lousy service. Location near the water is its only draw, but it's dated, dirty and unappealing. We would never return.

Gal at my hotel in Douglas recommended when I queried about good quality takeout. Nothing in Douglas (the retarded cousin of Saugatuck), but a number of options in Saugatuck. The Ruben, budget and sweet potato fries were very nicely done. Ambiance in restaurant was casual yet with a very cozy, quality feel. If I'm ever in the area I'll definitely... More

We had dinner at The Butler to end a day of shopping. The service was great and the food was delicious. Pumpkin soup was the soup of the day and we all thought it was wonderful! Loved reading about the history of the restaurant and the pictures on the wall were fun to look at. We've eaten there on other... More

A group of friends and I had a girl's weekend in Saugatuck and went into The Butler Home of the Butler Burger on Sunday night around 8:30pm. When we got there, there were a few people at the bar but no one at any tables. We were seated and ordered drinks, shortly after another older couple was seated a few... More
