If you are looking for a quick bite on the water, this is your place. It is American cuisine. Nothing special. The servers were friendly and the food came quickly.

We went to the Butler yesterday for lunch. I had a patty melt and sweet potato fries and my husband had the fish and chips. The waitress asked how I wanted my burger done and I requested medium. It was well done. It was also tasteless and greasy.it tasted like cheap hamburger when I would have expected ground beef at... More

Dinner for 5 on Friday night. Hot dog was grilled and delicious. Fries were extra crispy. Fish and chips was horrible. Frozen fish over cooked. Same with breaded shrimp.

Had a good lunch with the family while out shopping. Prices were good and got a good amount of food for the price. Had the butler burger and it was great.

The Butler is a delightful spot in the center of town with a good, reasonably priced menu. Service waitstaff is young, college age ladies who serve you with a smile and personality. We ate outside on the deck on a beautiful July day for lunch with a view of the harbor. Saugatauk is a delightful tourist trap that is worth... More

Sent back the salty prime rib to have it replaced with clearly frozen, pre-breaded fried shrimp. Really slack on the food but the service is so kind, and so good I would return just to have a drink or two and drink in the beautiful scenery. The food might be good for some, heck for many I imagine however if... More

The weather was perfect, the town was hopping, and the band was just starting to play! We had a fun evening on the deck last night. Be ready for a wait on a summer Friday night, but after 40 minutes, we were seated. Our server was great and we enjoyed local beer, burgers, and salads while listening to the live... More

Over priced not so good food or service but a great deck. I would go back for drinks on the deck but find better food elsewhere

We visited The Butler for lunch in July 2014. We got a table overlooking the harbor and it was a very nice setting to have lunch. The service was okay, nothing good or bad. The food is typical american cuisine, but the sandwiches and burgers are very expensive, then top that off with they only come with regular bagged chips-... More

Ate lunch. Had the beer battered cod sandwich which was very good and HUGE. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the view of the boats and lakefront homes. Our waitress was very friendly and service was good.
