Had a burger with bar cheese and a side of onion rings. Both were very good. Service good. Husband ordered prime rib, sort of fatty and not so flavorful.

This place is just too busy for me to visit in season. You get a great view of the harbor. The place has been around for an awful long time, the floor needs shored up, it shook when someone walked by something you don't need whilst dining. I ordered The HAT off the lunch menu. Ham, asparagus, and roasted tomato... More

I was advised to visit Saugatuck along the Great Lakes. For a Florida dude, the frozen waters around this area was a different sight. So, I selected The Butler as a place to eat - just for the views - as it sits right on the docks of this harbor. Fortunately, the burger I chose was fantastic. Juicy, thick beef... More

My family and I visited the Butler while on a vacation to the Michigan west coast. We were looking for a place to grab a quick lunch before taking off to our next destination. We were hoping to sit outside on the deck, but the deck was packed and had a long wait. So, we opted to sit inside. The... More

Love the views, the martinis, the fireplace and the staff! The food is amazing from the fresh fish to the spicy chili.

I had the cooked pan walleye and my bf had a sirloin; both were cooked perfectly. Our server, Emily, was fantastic. Fresh veggies the end of November was a nice touch.

I loved the old Butler Restaurant! The history of the place when it was a hotel was very interesting. I ordered a Bloody Mary which was a little watery. I had the fish in chips and my husband had a french dip. Both were delicious. The fish and chips were crunchy and well seasoned. We enjoyed relaxing after our meal by... More
